Also, I dont think Strainger will get this…he didn’t leave his number with anyone, AFAIK. Mjollnir, if you can make it happen, then please do.

What’s the name of that Thai place in the Midtown Plaza? Might be a good place to grab a bite to eat after we get everyone assembled.
Raise your hand if you’re coming. We need a count. Also, how shall we recognize each other? (Just look for a guy toting a hammer?)
I don’t know about in the plaza, but right around the corner and just down the street is Surin, one of the best Thai places in the city, IMO.
Don’t worry, spoke. I’ll listen to some Marshall Tucker Band and watch some Mama’s Family and wear my velcro sneakers and a John Deere cap, and also I’ll throw a big chunka Copenhagen in my mouth, so that you and I will be able to communicate and get along just fine.

But if I can, it’ll be easy to recognize me. Since I would be coming from SC, my hood is a pretty blue color with a white palmetto tree and crescent moon.

Be driving a little red suzuki swift, most likely wearing blue jeans, white blouse. Ummm… wear something recognizeable and or I’ll start walking up to people looking like a food: “are you mouthbreather or spoke?”
But barring something extreme, I intend to be there.
How about the “Mullinator” party. Doesn’t look like he’ll make it, but there’s not much chance for confusion.
I’m easily recognized. Reddish-brown mustache and goatee, otherwise I shave my head. I’m a runner and look like it.
I should be easy to spot. I’m 6’4", with short, dark hair, a moustache and a “soul patch”.
Not sure what I’ll wear. I’ll have to check and post that info tomorrow.
Perhaps I’ll sport a “Hi. My name is spoke-” patch or something.
Mjollnir, we won’t be anyone’s “party.” At the Highlander, you just go in and find a seat.
Mjollnir and Lsura, we won’t see your cars; it’s a big parking lot, and most of it isn’t visible from inside the Highlander anyway.
Rosebud, Ed Kramer is indeed under indictment for child molestation, but fortunately, Dragoncon is bigger than one man (even such a big man). I just checked Dragoncon.org and the event is still on track for late August-early September. I look forward to seeing you again!

Look in the phone book for “Strain,” call the number, and ask for “Jeff from Arizona.” I’d do it but it’s long distance.
I just realized that I am thinking of the wrong joint. I was thinking about the Highland Tap Room, not the Highlander. So I haven’t been to this place.
Anywho, like I said above, Tina (GF) should be getting here around 7 or 7.30 – we’ll leave then. Coming from Gwinnett county should get us there around 8, give or take 15 minutes.

There are about 50 "Strain"s in the newest phone book. Being as I’m currently at work, I can’t make calls(shoot, posting this is pushing it).
I’m feeling a bit under the weather at the moment. Seeing as how I’m the only one in the department who hasn’t had the flu yet(2 before Christmas, one was in yesterday(thanks sooooo much), and called in today) I know why. If for some reason I’m not there, then I’m home in bed, and with y’all in spirit.
