Glad y’all got together and had a good time. Things got awfully hectic here before I left and I didn’t get my number out to anyone (not that it’s a good excuse since it would’ve only taken about 2 minutes. I was pretty distracted though). I was going to try to get on the Internet while I was at my parents’ house, but they live in BFE and don’t have a computer at home; plus my dad kept his office (where I would’ve gotten on the Internet) closed most of the time. I greatly appreciate y’all’s efforts to try to look me up. I’m bummed that I didn’t get to meet/see any of you, but I plan to travel to Atlanta more frequently in the future since I’m finally accruing some vacation time. I’ll try to hook up with the Atlanta Dopers the next time I’m in town.
Happy New Year! Eat lots of collard greens and black-eyed peas (especially collard greens)!
I’ll ditto Five’s sentiments. Good to have met him and spoke. No one else showed up – the lady, spoke and I had another round after you left and then called it a night.
I’d be up for another meeting whenever.
And, Strainger, this displaced Yankee will be having a hearty meal of pork, mashed potatoes, and sourkraut tonight. None of that collard greens nonsense.
mouthbreather, I know you can’t help being a Yankee, but do you have to be such a Yankee? Pork and sauerkraut??? Yeesh!!!
Good to have met Five, mouthbreaker (I mean -breather) and Tina, who is far too good for him. Ah well, maybe she can help take some of that Yankee “edge” off.
Five, let us know your schedule at the Fox, so we can come take the tour.
