Anyone have his number? I could really use like $5,000 right now, and I don’t think he’d mind…
You can turn him into your own personal ATM Ma-SHEEN.
Are you young, blonde, buxom and a porn star/stripper/hooker? If so you could get a lot more than 5k.
But I don’t think you’ll like where he wants to put the ATM card.
a: No, but I feel young.
b: I can do blond. Hell, green, blue, and purple were easy enough.
c: Shit, now that I’m losing weight, turns out I did the wrong thing?
d: I give an awesome lap dance. I have a penis, though. Think that would matter?
MC Hammer didn’t handle his money well, but he also got ripped off by an embezzling accountant, I believe.
You could probably just tuck it away, I doubt he’d notice what with being so high on Sheen.
You could be a Sheen Queen!
He did have this, but I recall also he had over 300 people on his personal staff. This even more than the theft helped to deplete his funds
Don’t forget Sheen also gets a percentage of the show in reruns, which is now the number one show in syndicated sitcom reruns.
Don’t forget the World’s Dumbest series on TruTV!
What talent beyond being the son of Martin Sheen? His character on the show is a rich playboy womanizer named CHARLIE whose goal in life is to party with 2 woman at a time. At what point does he know he’s actually at work?
He has good comic timing and a good deadpan demeanor for that kind of comedy. He’s also been a perfectly servicable actor in a number of dramatic roles, including some very critically successful films. I’m not saying he’s enormously talented, but I’ve seen a lot worse. He gets by without stinking anything up. He’s not Brando, but he’s better than the likes of Keanu Reeves or Josh Hartnett, who are blocks of wood.
It just dawned on my why he’s gone insane. He’s taking his work home with him.
Only in the sense that that’s what people will pay for it. It’s wasted in the sense that the money could have been used for something a lot more beneficial to society. I’m pretty sure you could motivate someone to act for you with a lot less money, if studios weren’t so careless with money.
I would also point out that TV shows that are made up of actors you have never heard of also often do well in ratings. And that Sheen has cost CBS a lot money now that they’ve lost a show. Apparently giving someone so much money that they can do without work is not a good idea if you want them to work for you. Whodathunkit?
I want to go on record with a prediction that a Charlie Sheen sex tape will be released/leaked. I’m also not sure if that prediction is important enough to warrant its own thread or poll, so I’ll leave it here, but I’m curious if that will hamper his career. It seems Rob Lowe’s sex tape hurt him, at least for awhile, while women’s sex tapes (didn’t Paris Hilton have one?) don’t seem to hurt their images.
In Paris Hilton’s case, you’d have to have an image to tarnish.
But people enjoyed watching the show. Millions of people derived great enjoyment from “Two and a Half Men,” and of course the money spent on the show created other jobs and spinoff benefits. CBS wasn’t going to give the money away, I’d assume, so why would the absence of Charlie Sheen on their show cause the $1.8 million to be better used?
Well, sure, and I’m sure you could get someone to do almost any job for less thanthe current jobholder would do. I’d have done the show for a lot less than$1.8 million. But I’m not as handsome, talented, or as funny, and my name doesn’t carry the same PR value.

Have you watched his movies? He’s a solid actor, especially in comedy. Let me let you in on something; it’s harder than it looks.
I would have put “Yes, He is not an especially talented actor, but as long as he makes money for the studio, he will still get roles”
I know scads of people who are funny on their own without a room full of professional joke writers. He would be living under a bridge talking to himself if he wasn’t the son of Martin Sheen.
Everyone knows people who they think are funny when you’re sitting around joshing and having a couple of beers. Approximately none of them can act for shit or tell jokes in front of a crowd.
Acting is not an easy job to do passably well. I know you think it’s easy. Everyone thinks it’s easy, but there’s a reason everyone isn’t equally likely to get paid to do it.
