Thanks, rocking chair! I looked for a new blog update just last week.

Yay, the blog! I had a lot of fun with it a couple of years ago. Thanks for linking to it.
Mrs. Hudson’s posts are particularly funny.

Oh man, that’s what I needed - another time-waster. And here I am supposed to be getting the pre-holiday cleaning done. Which is my way of saying thanks for the link, rocking chair. I’ll be passing that along to some other people.
The BBC announced the air date of the 1st ep of series 3 (1st January) by, err, driving a hearse around London.
They have the blog? They actually have the blog? Damn!
(I don’t even know whether it aired here, but since I get my Sherlock from a streaming site and it’s dubbed into European Spanish, I guess it does)
Yes!!!
Hah. A reference to the title of the first episode, The Empty Hearse. I love how all the titles are twists on the titles of the original Conan Doyle stories.
30, count 'em, 30 photos of S3 have been released. Tiny bit spoilery for folk who haven’t read the books perhaps.
Cool photos!
What’s this? A “mini episode” of Sherlock to air on Christmas day?
What’s the BBC red button service?
It’s a digital thing that can carry additional/supplementary programming (amongst other things like text based news). It’s often used at events like Wimbledon so that you can watch other matches than the ones that the main broadcast channels are carrying. You literally access it by pressing the red button on your remote. The Sherlock mini-episode will definitely be on the website/Youtube channel etc too.
How… But… And there are lots of posts…
I’ll be in my bunk.
^ RE the Blog: I don’t know why but I’m quite impressed Mrs Hudson has mastered the Internet.
In case anyone else hasn’t been keeping up as well, the three dates in the UK are:
Wednesday, 1 January
Sunday, 5 January
Sunday, 12 January
If you haven’t a nefarious way to deceive the iPlayer, I’m sure the first will be available somewhere on the internet before 2 January …
Wikipedia says American air dates are three weeks later than the UK air dates - I’m assuming on Masterpiece Mystery, like before.
Another new blog entry up, recapping old cases.

I have to wait until I get my dvd’s, dammit. My husband’s schedule won’t allow him to see the airing of the first and third episodes and I promised I would not watch them until he could. On the upside I am scoring some serious spouse points (good for future rewards). On the downside I suppose this means I have to stay off the internet until sometime in February.
Without the dope, I would be so out of the loop. Can’t wait until January 19.
