There’s this magic thing called diplomacy. The US’s Government’s lack of it over the previous two terms was all too painfully obvious.
As a non-American I am quite enjoying the fact that the US currently has a president that knows that going to a country and then saying “hahahaha we kicked your asses” just isn’t the done thing.
If only a good portion of the American population could work that out as well.

You’ll note, that the Stupid Conservative, will attempt to deflect when faced with a situation he doesn’t like. In this instance, Pelosi’s accomplishments are much weightier than Palin’s so all he can do is point to Gore and Bush, two people I hadn’t mentioned.

Here the Stupid Conservative is continuing down his deflective tangent. He first of all, assumes that grades equal intelligence. Which I’m sure, any intelligent person knows isn’t true. Second of all he assumes that Gore has as many verbal gaffes on record as W. Bush, which isn’t true by any measure. So the stupid person has failed to substantiate even his own tangent.
Here the Stupid Conservative continues his deflection. Now he has brought global warming into the debate, presumably the Stupid Conservative doesn’t believe in global warming and is using it to show how utterly gullible the libs are. In this case however, he’s chosen to ignore the tens of thousands of climate scientists who actually find Anthropogenic Climate Change to be a real danger on the horizon. The Stupid Conservative has chosen to believe the 26 or so Climate scientists who disagree. Why? Because they are saying what he wants to believe. And a Stupid Conservative doesn’t care about facts, they care about being seen as right.
Never mind that there are problems in an Inconvenient Truth owing to more recent science, but it is for the most part correct and for the most part parallels scientific understanding.
Does the Stupid Conservative think about this, no, instead he continues to rage:
Left wing views aren’t always correct. For instance, I like nuclear power and I think that the left is wrong on that stance. However, what the Stupid Conservative fails to see, is that he, and other Stupid Conservatives have chosen specifically to be wrong.
Stupid Conservatives have chosen to not believe in evolution, they have chosen to champion abstinence-only sex education, they have chosen to ignore anthropogenic climate change, they have chosen to inject Christianity into governmental life, they have chosen to ignore the vast majority of economists in that a stimulus plan was necessary, they have chosen to believe that industries will regulate themselves and so on.
Stupid Conservatives have chosen to do and champion very, very stupid things. Liberalism isn’t defacto correct, it just seems so because everything the Stupid Conservatives do is wrong.
