Here’s a proposal, since you seem interested in betting. I think your predictions are too vague to form the basis of a bet. But if we make them more concrete, they might be viable. How about these?
#1 Support for gay marriage, legalized abortion, and premarital sex will decrease from current levels by a statistically significant margin by December 2012 within at least two major polls using the same questions over time.
#2 Public support for recycling and alternative energy will decrease by a statistically significant margin by December 2012 according to at least two major polls using the same questions over time.
#3: A republican who gets less than 20% crossover votes from self-identified Democrats will win the presidential election in 2012.
Would you be willing to place a bet on those? Say, perhaps, you will never post again if 0/3 come true and I’ll do the same if 3/3 are true?
Whoa. Have you been keeping up with the polls? Support for abortion is already tanking. Has been for years. In what way are these alternative energy sources? Two of them don’t even exist in a remotely commercially viable way yet, and two others are simply far more expensive than the results they produce. What’s your problem with wind, geothermal, solar, etc.?
Of course, I do think that the demographics mean that a Republican will have a hard time winning the presidency. But I have the hunch that if they win the presidency it will be with a candidate that is not so conservative. It is very likely that conservatives will call that candidate a RINO.

What I do see is that currently humanity is telling the scientists to minimize their warnings, that is better to enjoy the current fossil fuel status even if it leads to disaster in regions of the earth.

Hannity said “Obama left out X!” after showing that video, when the original transcript and footage showed Obama saying X. You don’t think that reflects badly on Hannity?
