It’s apparently de rigeur to refer to ones mental state with regard to chemicals as that invites thread lock so I won’t.
Anyway, there’s a girl I don’t really like that much and she is going to probably go to a party I’m going to. There’s another girl I sort of like who likes me a bit. Last time we were at a party we sort of went out on the town as sort of a pick up thing even though she has a boyfriend.
Should I invite her to the party so the other girl will be jealous?
Well, you don’t like the one chick, so why bother with her at all one way or the other? The one you do like has a boyfriend, so she’s not an option right now either. I’ll go with option C., go to the party and see if you can meet a single smart cutie that digs you.
You had fun with her before so why would you turn around and use her to elicit a response from someone you don’t even like? If you want to call her, do so for reasons you both embrace. Doing the other is disingenuous and I’m guessin’ you’re better than that.
Yanno, this is about the stupidest OP I’ve ever written. The first girl in question can’t possibly like me more than she does, even if it turns out I really like her.
I didn’t IM the second girl in question, more because you never know when she’s in the mood to chat and when she will just ignore your IM for an hour and then reply a week later when you’re not expecting it.
I know this is hard to understand for people who live for texting and IM’ing, but ignoring your message for an hour could just mean that she’s busy, or away from her computer or phone for a while (I know! Boggles the mind!) People do have jobs, and classes, and dental appointments, and sometimes the computer may say that I’m here, but I’ve really run to the grocery store and then stopped by the yarn store…
