Just found this thread - here’s mine taken a year ago.
The beard is now gone and my son is bigger.
Trust Dopers to rock the specks! See, because my glasses are darned near invisible, I have to wear makeup anyway! Well, to work, and stuff. I hardly ever wear makeup on weekends unless we’re going “out”–I don’t include the Wal-Mart and Publix run as going out.
This is me in icon format. I don’t have access to the bigger pic now.
I like my glasses - I feel like my face looks too round without them. Although I desperately could use some new frames - these are extremely icky and old by now. One of these days I’ll figure out how to use my health insurance and do it.
freckafree - you are one bold lady! Everyone really looks so cool in their glasses here, I think.
I fell in love with them as soon as I saw the detail on the sides. I have two other pairs that I wear less often - one pair of Transitions for summer and sunny days, and a pair of more businesslike glasses to wear when I want to be taken seriously.
Me, and my gorgeous husband, naturally. This is where we met, 6 years ago this month. AWWW. Oh, and you can see my glasses quite well.
This is the only picture I can find of me in glasses but I wear them more than I don’t wear them. I’m pretty blind. craponacracker
More cool frames! lobstermobster, your glasses look amazing on you. I wish I could wear bolder frames.
I am a huge fan of the “librarian look.”
When I bought them I told the salesman, upon putting them on, that they were so “librarianish”; and he acted like that was a bad thing. He was all, “Oh no, you look good in them.” So I had to tell him I liked looking like a librarian. Lots of guys find it strangely alluring.

Hi. I like books. Could you point me to something… engaging?
