I’m more rednecked than all y’all… The Bronco
Lotus type 38. Don’t know why, I just love this racer above all others.
Porsche 911 Carrera 4 A used one of these would be barely within my grasp but the repair costs wouldn’t.
Ford GT. I think there’s something Mach 5 Speed-racerish burned into the little kid part of my brain about this car that appeals to me.
As a family guy and small wagon fan, the Audi A4 Avant and BMW 3 series X drive wagon have been on my short list for ages but I wouldn’t want to get either without a good warranty which means new which means ‘ain’t happening soon’.
The Mini Cooper S looks like a hoot.
Shame Tuckerfan is no longer with us.
I’ve always thought that about that car too. And I LOVE the Ford GT. How do we install the auto jacks?
That thing is bizarre!
As soon as 2016 rolls around, I’m buying myself one of these little babies and importing it into the states. In the meantime, I’d love to own an Aston Marton.
I tend to crave a few Indiana-built classics. Alas, I don’t have the riches of a Leno to get any of them-

But none of them look quite as good as the pictures.
No offense, but the Avanti is an UGLY car! It looks like an insect with its face cut off.
But the transmission is sacrilege.
There’s scant room for your Snow Dog in any of those…
plus you wouldn’t want to get nose prints on THOSE windows!
For pure coolness, how can you possibly beat the Aston Martin DB5? I know, it’s the whole James Bond overblown mystique wrapped up in it and from a mechanical point of view, it’s pretty feeble.
So what? Those lines make everything right. Keep your hypercars and your bellowing, steroid pumped muscle cars. I want this.
There’s no substitute for cubic inches…
If that’s what you want to believe them I’m not going to waste time arguing against it. The DB5 didn’t have brilliant performance even in it’s day and now it’s completely outclassed. So what? Zero-to-one hundred times and lateral G ratings are not the sum total of automotive excellence and some people would rather drive a stylish car at fifty MPH rather than have their hair on fire at a hundred and fifty.
Look at the bright side, you and I won’t be bidding against one another at the classic car auction.
Ha! I suppose I actually agree with you. I retract what I said. Looks are just as important as performance for many, including myself. I just love fast cars. But my current “hot rod” is a simple 2008 Mustang GT, with about 315hp at the wheels, but I didn’t buy it because its super fast…its not.
I bought it because I think it is a classy representation of the original car, and because it looks sweet. Many Mustangs (IMO) suffer from the “too much badging” syndrome, where there’s racing stripes, badging, etc and I just don’t really like it.
Here’s my ride: http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/pp360/sgenetti77/MyCar001.jpg
Clean, classic, devoid of overt styling cues…evokes the Boss Mustangs of yesteryear. And I love the color. Its uncommon.
I know what you mean but it’s hardly a problem unique to Mustangs. You look at a Corvette or BMW recently?
There’s not a thing wrong with that!
Besides forced induction and nitrous oxide
Well thanks! I wish the hood scoop wasn’t superfluous.
No no no! Its supposed to be “There’s no substitute for cubic inches that are enhanced with forced induction and nitrous oxide”
