I’ve been a morning showerer ever since I graduated from baths to showers. We only had one bathroom, but from the time I was five I was the only child at home and both my parents’ are evening showerers (dad a mechanic, mom a nurse’s aid). Depending the weather & season, what I was doing that day, and what I plan on doing that night I migh take a second late afternoon/early evening shower. That does not replace the morning shower. Growing up the only times I really deviated from this were at summer camp (compulsory pre-chapel evening showers every night) at on school/youth group trips were my roommates prefered mornings I opted for a longer evening shower where I could masturbate in peace.
Night.
I can’t really sleep without a shower most nights. I’ve always been like this, with my grandmother telling me I’ll get pneumonia, sleeping with wet hair, when I was a kid.
The Fella is a morning showerer–hates wet hair at night. So it’s a bit of an issue.
I’ve tried showering in the morning, but for me the hot shower is a zone-out relax time. I can’t take a quick shower. I get in and it’s suddenly a half hour later. (I have a lowflow showerhead; I recycle; I don’t get bottled water–this is my big horrible I’m bad to the environment thing. I just zone out.)
Which is why it’s great at night. I stumble out, dry off and wake up in the morning.
I like the shower in the morning because it can be unpleasant aty night if you take the shower and then haven’t washed your sheets in awhile ebcause they might smell a little bad but you wouldn’t notice as much before the shower. So it can be waier, but if your sheets are clean and your clothers are dirty than it would be better to shower at night because of the same reason
In the evening. I prefer to sleep as much as I can in the morning. On the rare occasions when I have to shower in the morning, I always mess up - I forget to wash certain body parts, or I wash other parts twice, or I drop the towel, etc.
