Shuffing off to Irk- A MMP

I hate you.

Go sharks, Perseus crabs and Pajama Cardinals!

Note to Jim: Pom Pom crabs :dubious: aka Perseus crabs, need not be launched; they can walk!

Sharks lost in the 1st Round. Keep up, man!

My mind is at ease.
I am buying bus tickets for Perseus crabs.
What is your address?

I live in…Central Arkansas. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey, Clown Fish, where in Western NY are you? We were in Letchworth State Park this weekend & I think we’re going up to Dansville for Labor Day, & maybe back to where we were in the fall.
Driving home, I came right thru were the lines cross in PensylTucky. It is breath-takingly beautiful, but it’s Og’s country…& he can have it. As for me, I like greater suburbia, where I don’t need to start thinkin’ about filling up the tank 5 miles after my last fill-up. Man, it is desolate up there!

In Allenwood, PA, on one side of the road you have ReptileLand, complete with man-eating Komodo dragons. Directly across the street is [del]golf course[/del] FCI Allenwood, which has seen more than it’s fare share of former politicians. So on one side of the street, you have a bunch of disgusting, slimy creatures, & the other side has a petting zoo for cute widdle reptiles.

We recently got a Flashback 4. Some games seem a tad buggy (others are fine), and the wireless controllers that come with it could double as vacuum cleaners, as far as their usability goes. Wired controllers are better. Some games like joystick input, some prefer paddles, so we now have both.

I was a good deal more productive today than I really wanted to be, but getting that shelf thingie installed and organized so I could find the surface of the desk got kind of urgent. We also really needed clean clothes.

As late as we got up today, meals are more of a grazing deal.

The Princess was VERY intent on supervising the construction of the shelf thingie. When the shelter tagged her on their personality scale as “personal assistant”, they weren’t kidding. She even seems to think she needs to make sure I’m OK when I use the bathroom (and frequently decides this must be a social activity, so hops into her box and uses it while I’m enthroned).

Still trying to figure out the calendar system that’ll work once I’m in school again. We currently use Cozi, which is all right, but I’d be happier with a big chart for a wall. May just grab a huge pad of paper somewhere and get busy with yardsticks and markers.

There must be a disturbance in The Force - I got almost 8 hours of sleep last night! **FCD **is still abed, but he’s still recovering from Rolling Thunder as well as our yardwork yesterday. We’ve got storms or showers predicted over the next 3 days, which is good for our plantings, so yay. It’s also a good excuse not to work in the yard over the next 3 days.

doggio, having seen most of 4 or 5 episodes, I can honestly say it’s a stoopit series. And why is it in all of these post-alien-invasion shows, the sun never shines? They’re always dark and misty and dreary. Stoopit.

Today’s plans include finishing whatever glazing remains and loading the kiln. Firing to follow soon. Then I’ve got to arrange to get 2 pots to my sister - she’s already paid for them even. And there are 10 others that need to be packed up and mailed off to fulfill another order. Which will leave me with a few for the store, so I guess I need to get busy again.

Yep, just another day in paradise. Happy Tuesday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 68 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 90 for the day. A bit of a cool down. BRRRRRR!

I get to start my day with a short trip over to the east forty which is not very far. Thus, since it’s easier to leave from da cave, go there, and then to the orifice, I can slack a little bit this mornin’. I don’t have to be there until eight thirty and it’s all of a twenty minute drive. This week’s irk fun includes an audit on Thursday and Firday. I’m not too worried about it. Matter of fact, to the best of my abilities, the records are as good as they can be so what shall be shall be.

doggio brawl is usually not included in our WH trips bein’ as we are not prone to goin’ at two a.m. anymore.

Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then I should commence irk purtification, I reckon. Alas.

Happy Tuesday Y’all!

Gigablurf.

Happy Tuesday!

The sun is shining. The AC is on.
The dog is happy.
I was supposed to go hunting today but the realtor had to reschedule until Thorsday.

Today is laundry day, but not pizza day since we had pizza yesterday. It’s quiet around here
this am. Most I’ll be doing today is irk trying to make up for last weeks suckage.

Terrablurf.

Good gad, man, why are we fooling around with spiders, sharks, and crabs when we can have Komodo dragons?
Bring some home. I am sure you have a spare room you can keep them in until time to deploy them at a cement pond. They are probably quite friendly to those who feed them.

Morning all,

Nice weekend. Grilled 3 out of 4 days. Expecting a new stand up freezer delivery on Firday cause the old one has a case of the i’m-not-sure-if-i-want-to-be-on-or-offs. Back at irk. 6 moar weeks until the next 3 day weekend.

'Lo all. They say you are what you eat. I’m a rib.

**lieu **- if that’s true, this morning, I’m a PB&J with homemade strawberry J!

Feeling crunchy today?

Up and caffeinated. working tonight. Gordie is unconscious.

Off? Just a little bit. And I didn’t work yesterday. We spent the weekend helping a cousin move near Bellefont and took advantage of the situation to hit DelGrosso’s and Lakemont giving us a pre-Memorial Day record of 8 different amusement parks. Yesterday I started curing and breaking in the new smoker. I had to move from a vertical to a more traditional barrel so there is going to be a slight learning curve. The last fire I built in my old Brinkman fell out the bottom at some point so ----------

I always wanted to be the white Venus Flytrap. Or Sgt Harris. I always wanted to do the clothes thing. Never did – never came close. But I thought that was way cool.

Good morning all. Did a lot of yardwork and car washing this weekend. The wife made one of her tiramasu cakes on Friday, and there’s not a lot of it left today.

For the yard work, I spent all of Saturday tearing down and rebuilding the compost pile. The temperature maxed out at 120F yesterday afternoon, so I think I did it right this time (there was a lot of uncomposted stuff in there from the last month. Sometimes I think I’m just wasting my time, though it is a good place to put the vegetable kitchen waste. And I trimmed a tree on the property line that had started growing into the neighbor’s roof. He was glad to see that i took care of that.

Not a lot to catch up on at work today, surprisingly.
