It’s wet outside, 55 degrees with a projected high of 61.
I opened my window last night and the air coming through the window was cooler than the air coming out the vent.
Today is hunting day and what is so annoying is one house I wanted to see on Tuesday got a contract on it yesterday. However the one I saw two weeks ago that was supposed to have a contract on it right away? There were (supposedly) multiple offers, including some cash offers, it is still sitting on the market. Of course they said the same thing about the one I had put an offer in on and it’s still sitting on the market. I told the realtor to offer them $50,000 and I’d still buy it. Maybe I’ll make a low offer on the one from two weeks ago, the one with the missing mortar between the blocks. Or just watch them to see how low the price will go.
I’m getting real tired of the realtor games. I’m not blaming my realtor for it, but I think she needs to ignore what the selling realtors are saying.
Houses are selling in Washington County, anything that is any good is going quick. It’s not like any of the realtors up there need to play games to get a sale.

Good morning! The kiln is in the last 30 minutes or so of firing - it was 2120° and climbing. By the time I’m done breakfast and showering, it should be turned off and cooling down. This time tomorrow, I should be able to unload it. I learned a valuable lesson years ago about trying to rush cool-down - don’t. So I won’t.
It’s in the mid-50s outside, overcast, and wet. We had some rain last night, so I’m glad we left the car out of the garage. There was enough rain to wash the bird poop off the car window, so yay for nature’s car wash! 
**FCD **is in the shower, and when I’m done with my breakfast, I’ll get washed and dressed for our jaunt to the gym. Then much of today will be spent in the kitchen - I’ve got 10# of russets to bake, and I think I’ll make a couple of quiches for supper and subsequent breakfasts.

Thorsday for the almost win! Well its one day closer to Firday, and this being the week that it has been, I will take it. Cool and overcast this morning, makes me want to just stay it bed, but alas the bills got to be paid so here I am at irk. New freezer arrives at somepoint during some 4 hour window tomorrow. Mr. Jynxster will be at home all day in anticipation of its arrival and I will be at irk half of the day.
What horrible time did Higgs decide was get-up time?
No sleep. Work’s not gonna be fun.
Up and caffeinated. Going in for a couple of hours to help at another store today.

I’m not sure what time I am supposed to meet the realtor today. I think her heart isn’t in it today, I know mine isn’t. Maybe it’s just the sloppy weather.

Ok, here’s a quick fun post before I go make nice with the auditors. They’re here btw and gettin’ themselves settled in the room we’re meetin’ in.
Ms. Turned In Her Resignation (TIHR) whined at my boss this mornin’ about me sayin’ her resignation would be effective immediately and Firday would be her last day. Remember Ms. TIHR thought she would get an extra two weeks. My boss told her that since this is the end of a pay period this week that it just makes sense to go ahead and make her resignation effective as of the end of tomorrow.
For all I care Ms. TIHR can sit and stare at the walls today and tomorrow or “be sick.” She does not have access to anything online as the IT PTB disabled all that this mornin’ already. BTW my boss ok’d me makin’ that happen yestiddy.
Ok, gotta go make nice. Just thought I’d entertain y’all with that before I get busy.

**Nettie **- Higgs actually stayed quiet till after 6! She’s been better about sleeping in a bit longer - it’s been a while since a 4AM wake-up, so yay for that!
I’ve got 10# of russets oiled up and in the oven. Once they’re baked and cooled a bit, I’ll slice off the tops, scoop out the innards, mix it with cheese and butter and onions and whatever else I decide to toss in, then stuff the innards back in the shells and wrap and freeze them for future meals. The fake crab is out to thaw for the quiches. The kiln has dropped below 1500°. All of the critters are snoozing. The dishwasher is washing dishes. **FCD **is futzing in his shop. And that’s the latest from FairyChatEstates!
Good morning all. Irk is less irksome this week than I thought it would be, considering it’s the week after a three-day weekend.
So how are things going Apes? I hope today is better than the week has been for you so far.
Got hit with weird rain last night. We watched on the radar a long line of storms that were coming in from the northwest for hours. It hit every city slightly north and even east (like where Jynxster lives) of us for hours, and we could even see the lightning that was slamming into Portsmouth and Norfolk from our back deck. But we got nuttin’ until about 9 o’clock, then it just inundated us with the stuff. I think it was the Great Dismal Swamp that was redirecting the rain for awhile. I see that happening all the time.
it’s a beautiful Spring day! Too bad I’m feeling grumpy and queetchy.
Well I’m not going hunting until later this evening. Another house I wanted to see got a contract on it and the other one the seller said ‘no’ to us seeing it. It looks like it is being pulled, it disappeared off the listings.
It may not even be worth it to drive all that way to see one house, that the realtor thinks is not worth seeing. She’s looking into showing me another one that is out of my price range but thinks they might accept a lower offer.
I wish I had just gone with the original house I liked. Now it’s sold, then again it needed an awful lot of work.

It’s rainy, it’s dreary, it’s icky out.
So I got my grocery shopping done, pretty easy when it’s done online. I got some clothes shopping done, also online.
Break for N.O.L.time. YAY!!! Actually things are goin’ rather well so far. Apparently I have mad file organizational skillz! Also, Ms. TIHR is chillin’, well, somewhere not here, the rest of today and tomorrow with pay. She may as well as there was nuttin’ she could really do here. Plus, her position is now posted.

Well I certainly typed too soon.
The single most important program that I need to use on a daily basis no longer believes that I’m allowed access. Everyone else can log in, but it just ignores every attempt that I, and now IT, makes. So this will be interesting.
I should be getting some things done but I’m not.
I have to leave around 2ish. That should get me out there before rush hour starts.
It’s getting chilly in here with the window open.
I should eat something too. I haven’t had a thing to eat yet today.
