Yeah, well, lemme tell ya: the only thing 99.99% of people want to hear out of your mouth is that you finally admit that you killed your wife and Ron Goldman.
Other than that, you got nothin’ that any sane person wants to hear.
I feel very sorry for your kids, especially after I read this:
This is what narcissists do: they suck weak people into their narrative. I mean, we see it every day with Trump, right? Simpson is the same exact kind of irredeemable asshole.
Come on! A narcissist asshole who commits crimes and escapes justice? The parallel is obvious, so of course Trump will get a mention. With Trump, the glove would fit, though.
Well, if nearwildheaven means “care” about OJ in the sense of “would piss on him if he was on fire”, it’s probably accurate that most people do not care about him. I mean, a lot of people didn’t like Reagan or Bush the Elder, but they had enough respect for them to be somewhat sad when they died. It’s closer to when Nixon died, except there were some good things to say about him.
Will anything good be said about OJ when he dies? The media will make their tributes, but since they’ll be awfully short on footage of celeb friends eulogizing him and the general public in mourning for him*, they’ll have to talk about something. So it’ll probably be his athletic feats; that’s safe territory. But you’re not going to see him canonized like Dimaggio and Ali were.
*(I still believe that the people cheering the verdict were cheering as much for Johnnie Cochran as they were for OJ. I’m not sure their adulation for OJ has lasted until now.)
