TV, broadcasting, media, and IT. I’ve heard of these things but never thought of them in connection with my high school. I must be getting old.
So far all we’ve had in this thread are US dopers. Here’s one for the Safrican/Zimbabwean dopers:
Born in Welkom, 1973, moved to Messina in 1974, lived there til 82, moved to Zimbabwe in 1982…lived there til '88. Went to Arundel Girls High. Moved back to SA in 89, went to Springs Girl’s High for a year then Victoria Girls High in Grahamstown, graduated class of 90.
Lived in Joburg for a year, then Cape Town til 98 when I moved to London. From London, I moved to Antigua in the Caribbean where I still am.
Sound familiar to anyone?
Not seeing any connections in an admittedly quick read-through of the thread, so I’ll see if I can create any.
-Born 1959 in Bangor, Maine.

-My first few years were spent in the central California town San Luis Obispo.
-Family moved to San Diego when my father was transferred.
-Attended two elementary schools. Not recalling the name of the first; I was switched to Green Elementary when it was opened because it was much closer to our home.

I didn’t mean to be cryptic…I thought if you knew him you’d know who I was talking about. He’s from the tiny town of Minneapolis and used to come to Chicago to work 4-5 times a year. I know he visited a guy named “Pat” who lives on the North Side. He has talked about Pat a lot. In a good way, always.

I’m pretty sure we did this before, but I went to Colby as well, 1992-1996. I seem to remember that we might have lived in the same residence hall at some point, but I could be wrong about that.
Oh for crying out loud. Effed up the quote tags and everything.
