Six Degrees on ABC

I can’t wait for this show, I’ve really liked Erica Christiansen since she was the little druggie that could in Traffic,a nd she was really good in the pilot of this. Did anyone else see the preview night last week on ABC? I think they are coming out big this season, and this is going to be one of my favorites!

okay, I see this garnered lots of attention, what did you all think? I liked it a lot last night and I think it has a lot of potential.

I tried to watch it but it just didn’t hold me. I have a crush for Bridget Moynahan that burns with the intensity of 1,000 suns, and while she looked just, well, amazing, I didn’t find much to keep me going. Campbell Scott as the burnt-out photographer did a decent job…

Yeah, I agree. It just didn’t hold me either. I probably won’t be watching it this season.

J.

It is an interesting premise that might work for a movie with an actual end in mind, but as an open ended television show it has little hope of being a slightly better than average night-time soap.

Good to excellent acting over fair to medium writing = not much to get excited about.

Watched both this and “Kidnapped” tonight and wasn’t captivated by either.

This season hasn’t snagged me with anything yet.

Of all the characters I liked the widow the best. Don’t remember all their names yet. On an ensemble show such as this the pilot must be really challenging to write, all that exposition to get through and still keep it interesting. So I thought they did a pretty good job with that.
Aren’t the creators the same ones that created Lost? I can see how there will be some wierd and surprising connections between characters as the episodes continue.

Damian (the limo driver) was a little too cliched, they need to not stereotype him so much. In fact, he’s one of the few afro-americans cast in any of the new shows. I’m getting really tired of all white or all black shows. Where’s the diversity, people? Sorry about the rant.

I really hope this show gains a good following. I’m really tired of investing my life and dreams (I have no life) to series that get cancelled after one season. I sometimes think my approval of a show is a jinx. My Name is Earl being the exception.
