Happy Friday everyone. Just finished cooking tri-tip. Am bellowing for kids. In a delicate and ladylike manner, of course. Looking forward to a movie night and some relaxing.

This mornin’, as I mentioned earlier, is my team’s turn to mow the back forty over to the church house. We’ll start about eight (well, I will anyway) and should be finished by around ten thirtyish. Then it’s back to da cave to clean up and have some quality cee-mint pond time. JDD and Partner, and MOG and a friend of hers who needs a nickname are comin’ over. We shall grill steaks later this afternoon. I have steaks marinatin’. I made up a green sallit and some friggin’ good N.O.T. as well. Also, while I am at the church house I shall fill up a cooler with ice bein’ as Hozi (the ice machine) makes copious amounts of ice.
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then I shall make myself presentable enough to be seen ridin’ upon Ol’ Blue (the zero turn mower I always use).

I’m glad you’re not spousing Flytrap Doggio. I think that would be rather upsetting to Mrs Plant (3.0).
I’m chilling the house lower than usual before the electrician gets here. We’re closing all window coverings also in an attempt to keep it cool as long as possible while our power is out. It’s supposed to hit 90° but we’re also promised rain on and off, so maybe it’ll keep it a tad cooler. Maybe. Not counting on it.
**FCD **is re-snoozing. He got up and tended to Higgs so I could sleep in a bit, and now it’s his turn. The electrician said he’d be here between 8-8:30, so I’ll let **FCD **snooze till 7:45. That way he’ll have a chance to shower. Then we’ll be off to get breakfast and find him a suit.
Good times ahead - woohoo!

A certain cat kept pestering me roughly every two hours, starting at 1am. She knows very well that alarm does not go off until 5am. 1-ish, here’s the cat purring and snuggling. 3-ish, same deal, likewise 4:30-ish. Then she got really persistent for the last 10 minutes before the alarm.
66 out there already (at only 5:10), predicted high 97. Warehouse work looms, likewise travel in a car that has no AC.
I have no idea what I’m taking for lunch.
Waiting to get in the shower. Sah-son beat me to it.
I wonder if we have to stand outside for this because it looks like rain.
I’ve gotten the vacuuming done and the dishwasher loaded.
Also started packing for next week.
Sometime today I may start laundry. Then again, maybe not.
I should eat some breakfast.

We had a good soaking rain here yesterday afternoon, so much so that I had to wait for it to stop before walking the block from the garage to the farmer’s market while they worked on the truck. In other news, the local peaches and maters should be ripe next week and sweet corn the week after. Yum!

Irking on a Sat. We have been too busy for just my teenage clerk to handle it alone. Tis drizzly and overcast so I probably didn’t need to be here but I am. Just until 1300.
Time to get ready to go. No rain so we don’t need to worry about that.
The dog needs a bath but that isn’t happening right now either.
Have to remember water and a bowl.
Howdy Y’all! Home from mowin’ the back forty over to the church house. Actually been home about 45 minutes. I rinsed myself off in the shower and OYKW went and got some hot dawgs from the Hot Dawg King cause he had a gnawin’ and a cravin’. So we et those and now I am relaxatin’ a bit before headin’ out to the cee-mint pond. The others are comin’ around oneish.
