Slogan for the Putz buttons?

Hey howdy hey.

Yes, it’s Baglady, coming out from behind the shadows of Obfusciatrist’s behind to post in the Boards once again!!

There was a time when I was actively making :wally buttons for Dopefests. And ya know… I still am! In fact, I’ve bought myself a fancy schmancy computer program that lets me curve and twist font letters nicely, so I can now easily curve letters around the outside perimeter of the button design.

I was playing around with the letters when I realized I needed a short slogan for the bottom of the button. It looks kind of bare right now.

I haven’t been struck with any good or inspiring phrases. I like the “Fighting ignorance since…” so any Board-specific twist on that might work, maybe. Any ideas? It can be punny, funny, odd, etc. but it does need to be short; I’d say no more than 25 letters, or five words or so.

I’m sticking this in IMHO because I think the folks who post to this thread will be sharing their HO’s with us. Well um… well, you know what I mean. Heh.

Well, here are a few suggestions:
The classic “Fighting ignorance…” can’t be bad
“Realistic tone and balance”
“Made from 99.9% recycled putz”
“Been there, done that, got this button”

I’ve got more, but that’s it for now.

p.s. is there anyway I could get one of those cool buttons mailed to me? I usually can’t attend dopefests, so would be unable to get one that way. Anyway, just asking.

Not to comment on Wally, since he was before my time, but the putz thing is suffering from overexposure. Maybe it’s time to give it a rest. Why not have that logo with the guy with the bag?
