You know, I figured it was just mindless corporate execs that were ill-advised enough to go ahead with this DVD project. But after reading the link, I realize that there are ‘fans’ clamoring for this. Their misplaced hipster irony will be rewarded.
Honestly, I wish Satan had given us a choice. I would have opted for Bush to have a third term.
A show about a middle-age inventor who creates an obedient robotic servant that looks exactly like a 10 year girl?

I had a friend in college that looked just like Vicki. I’m sure she’ll be thrilled.
And of course, nobody ever suspected that this dopey-acting little girl was anything less than fully human.
There is a nostalgia buzz around this show, and it has nothing to do with how good or bad it actually was. The DVDs will sell, that is all that matters.
I thought the woman playing the mom was cute.
I just watched a bit on Youtube. I stood about 2 minutes. Amazingly bad.

How old is your wife? I’m a 30-year-old woman and I remember loving this show and watching it every week.
I’m sure if I watched it now I’d be all “wow that wasn’t as good as I thought it was at all!” but I seem to be in the minority of people who don’t think this show was all that bad.
I wonder if it’s only women who were 6-10 when this show was out who liked it, and no one else.
When I was a kid, I loved this show. Then I caught an episode on You Tube a few months ago. What the hell was I thinking?
I watched it as a kid and liked it, but it turns out I was wrong.
Or questioned why she went from being the boy’s cousin to being his sister.

I haven’t seen the show in many years, but I thought it would be one of those “it’s SO bad, it’s good” shows to watch with a bunch of friends. Probably not worth investing in the dvds, but I can imagine a few cheap laughs at its expense.
