Seems kinda silly to me: Why would he kiss her there, rather than on the mouth?
Was anyone else hoping to hear Lex say “Son of Jor-El, kneel before Zod” after he got taken over? It seems like it would’ve fit well into the “Join me” speech. 
It ought to be interesting to see how this gets resolved. Now I just have to make it through the summer…
sciguy, judging by the discussion I’ve read elsewhere, you are far from the only one hoping for what’s in your spoiler box. I’m sadly grateful they didn’t, because I just don’t have faith that Smallville could do justice to such an iconic moment that has been so perfectly executed previously.
I fear we’ll see it in the season 6 premiere, however.
