Sneezing All Over The MMP

I did kinda. We missed a “critical pull/shipping time” which is a major failure ------- and all the bosses seemed much happier. :smack: This is what happens when you hire managers who couldn’t quite cut the grade at Home Depot. :smack: :smack:

Honestly if it wasn’t for
a) the giggle factor
b) the certain knowledge that it will get better if I can outlast a couple of them
I would make today my final day.

Skipping all the obvious jokes about the closet  let me say that medical science has found a cure for hot weather; it’s called “Minnesota”. (Trust me – even in June you better have the heavy coat handy.)

Polish food for lunch. Different. Good.

** Metal Mouse** Patches is always moving around, finding new places to sleep. I think the closet is her newest place. She’s a Hawaii cat so she likes the heat. And unlike the cats in the mysteries I like to read, she’s never helpful with anything.

Kopek That sounds lovely, actually. Lake Wobegone, here I come!

We get pre-made turkey burgers from Costco that are pretty good. Don’t know what brand. Prolly Kirkland. Also check Trader Joe’s. They used to sell a chicken patty that was really good, but we haven’t looked for them for a while.

Sorry 'bout your teething woes, Juliet. I went to the dentist this week and it turns out I have a cracked tooth, under a crown. I’ve only been having mild discomfort from it however. Nothing like you’re having.

I hadn’t thought of that. Wifey and I both have arthritis in our hands. We used to have a vibrator/massager (not that kind, you pervs), around here somewhere. I’ll have to look for it.

Hey! I liked Minnie-soda, except for the mosquitoes.
And driving through Minnie-apolis.

Got soccer practice in just before the rain (rather light for now) began to fall. Now we’ll see if it stays dry enough tonight to play soccer tomorrow.

Not much else going on. Will stay in and be internettin’ this evening and need to be abed early as the first game is due to start at 8:30am.

Howdy Y’all! Home from a loooooooooooong afternoon/evenin’ over to the church house. I did Stations of The Cross (AKA The Way of The Cross) at noon and enjoyed that very much. Afterwards it was slice up fish, make tea, toss fish in cornmeal, salt, and pepper, set up for eatin’, and a couple hunnert other things. Plus, the actual servin’ of food and all. The clean up crew did a wunnerful job afterwards. The cook crew was great! We even had brownies and cookies for dessert thanks to two wunnerful people who made and brought 'em. All in all a good time was had by all. I shall betake myself back tomorrow to make sure everything is good in the kitchen and to retrieve my outdoor cooker. Soon it shall be beddy bye time.

Poor Ripple. :skritches:

So butters, did you go with the classic pirogis or did you get something else?

Irked, bought groceries, took Nelson to the dog park and stopped at Fat Mo’s for a burger. I’s thared. Time to kick back.

was there any coleslaw left swampy? if so ill take a bucket or two

oh fore I forget :well finally figured out what happened Tuesday …only took a call to the board of LA county supervisors to get a call (aka the people who sign the programs paychecks much to their chagrin) from my workers supervisor

Apparently he managed to come and go in the 5/6 minutes it took for me to take a dump… and nephew who was here didn’t hear him …. I said ok but why didn’t he leave a note or call on the cell hes always on ? well supervisor didn’t know that one sos I’m supposed to get a call to reschedule Tuesday lets see if that happens ……

& Swampy retains his crown of King of TMI

but he has an upstart challenger.

::Sigh:: Iffn you need a body to hold the massager against; I’ll volunteer mine.
The sacrifices I do for the MMP,

  • including an extra post to get us to a new page tonight.

Darn!!! If I hadn’t helped with Maryland I could have been Top-o-4!

My mom had some more tests today. We’re waiting to hear from her cardiologist. Mom seems to be feeling much better, so that’s good.

The buyer on our house backed out of their contract on Weds. We confirmed a new buyer yesterday, and have the contract tonight.

I found a huge mass in Kona-dog’s belly. Turns out it’s just a huge fatty tumor (which is good). Despite all of the weird things people did to him today he’s in a fine mood. He’s a good boy.

Steak sandwiches for dinner tonight. We’ll probably do BBQ tomorrow.

Happy Firday everyone.

our fridge needs to be repaired , ever see 5 years of dirt under a fridge ? plus the rack of knick knacks next to it…

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work. Double tonight.

It’s raining. It’s supposed to continue all day and into tonight and tomorrow. I have a number of indoor chores to do, but my yard looks awful and this will make 2 more lost weekends (since next week is Easter, it’s pretty much lost for yard work.

So I’m seeing indoor chorage plus a lot of Netflix and crocheting. Good times.

Happy Saturday!

Does that refer to what you’re working…or drinking?

Fellow Mumper FB users - Do you get recent posts on your feed? I have mine set for Most Recent, and the top of the feed is from 2 days ago. I know for a fact that at least **swampy **posted some stuff yesterday, and that doesn’t even show up.

Does FB really suck that much?

Yes Red had pierogis potato and cheese and a potato pancake with a wonderful beet sauce. Very tasty.

Thank God it’s the weekend. I am awake and don’t have to be but at least I don’t have to hit the floor running.

Happy weekend.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN I was a slug abed and did not rise until almost seven! ‘Tis 60 Amurrkin out and mostly cloudy with a predicted high of 87 and possibly N.O.S. this afternoon. As I post I have a load of church kitchen stuff in the washer along with some miscellaneous stuff like tshirts. We messed up a bunch of towels and dishcloths last night. Plans for the day include gettin’ haircuts (we’re both gettin’ shaggy), N.O.L. somewhere, and goin’ over to the church house to retrieve the outdoor cooker, put the towels and dishcloths back where they live, empty the water out of the steamer table, and make sure the kitchen does not smell fishy which I don’t think it will.

Sunny yay for mom and Kanga feelin’ better!

MOOOOOOM yes, indeed, the book of faces doth sucketh mightily. I have long given up makin’ it behave the way I want it to behave.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then we must motivate, purtify, don appropriate bein’ about the public attire (alas), and get stuff done. Rah.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!
