I really enjoyed Armisen’s impression of Ice-T. It wasn’t nearly as vocally accomplished as, say, Pharoah’s version of Eddie Murphy, but it worked nonetheless.
Lovitz also has a regular gig at the Excalibur in Vegas.
Probably doesn’t pay a whole helluva lot by “famous people” standards but I have seen it advertised multiple times throughout the year of going there…so it’s steady pay.
The sound mix on SNL almost always sucks. This has been true for at least as long as I have been watching the show, since the mid-1980s. I even started a GQ on it, although got no conclusive answers.
