Lil Harborkid had a snow day last week. I still had to work.
God I miss when snow meant snowball fights and sledding instead of shoveling and crappy roads.
I forget how old your chillins is…
If they’re under 10, maybe whip up a batch of salt-and-flour clay and make Christmas ornaments or what have you.
Have them clean out their toy boxes of broken/sucky toys to make room for whatever fabulous stuff Santa brings them.
Bake holiday cookies.
Play in the snow.
Make out holiday greeting cards.
Put them to work shoveling snow. You could make a fortune in my neighborhood. I’d pay 'em fifty bucks to clear my driveway.
The Maxx children are home today too. I’m at work, but I wish I was at home. I’m so going sledding when I get home.
Snowball Fight!!!
We’ve already had french toast for breakfast.
Wrapped their presents.
Dressed them in snow gear.
They are presently outside stomping about.
I have the cocoa ready and am presently trying to work my way into our basement to work on the xmas stuff for the German American Club Xmas party that we are organizing. ( I just have to put candy canes in the gift baggies and tie them off.)
I just might bring up xmas decorations.
I think I will also put on my new to me carhartts ( paid $3 at a garage sale !!! ) and play outside.
Classes are cancelled here, but I only have one on Fridays anyway (and it’s my favorite class, wah), so it isn’t that exciting. My housemates are going to go play in the snow, but I’m too much of a bitter old woman for that, so I’m bumming around online.
