You are someone who intentionally farts in a social setting and who when people ask him to please stop, that they find his farts annoying, says “Hey it’s just my thing.” Most people just ignore the farter, a fart is really no big deal, just a mild annoyance, and it isn’t like we cared about hearing anything else the twerp had to say anyway. But every so often someone says: “Yo. Do not intentionally fart. It is rude.” To that farter’s "amusement. No dickwad, being told your continuing with behavior that is annoying is rude is not being bullied and you are not bravely refusing to knuckle under. You just like farting and annoying people with your farts.

FWIW I am not trying to force you to do anything. I make no threats. I coerce naught. I don’t even fart in your general direction. I don’t give a shit. I was bored enough to open up this thread, curious about where the hosts of this party (the mods) draw the lines of how much intentional jerkiness (farting) it takes for someone to be asked to stop or at least step outside until they can control themselves, and amused enough by the absurdity of your casting yourself as a victim of bullying to comment.
I know you are an intentional farter so it is easy enough for me to skip anything you write in general. I have never seen anything that you have written that is a contribution and since I skip over you mostly if you ever do I won’t. As stated I’m with those who think that Guin’s whining about your still farting on purpose is feeding a weak assed troll. She should just do what most of the rest of us do and skip anything with your name attached as a matter of course. No one forces any of us to read what you write any more than anyone forces of us to engage with the putz who keeps farting in self-stimulatory amusement.

I saw the phrase recently, and had no idea what it meant. Now I do. So this pit thread was educational and entertaining. Well, parts of it were.
I see it as an attempt to bully somebody, making shit up is actually slander, or is it libel? In either case, since there is absolutely no enforcement of the user agreement, or consequences for making shit up, telling lies, the would be bully, a real fuckhead if you will, can actually can just keep doing it.

If that’s a lie (and t certainly seems to be), there is no consequence for telling it, and of course some people will believe it, and it’s an attempt to smear somebody, which is against the fucking user agreement, but it doesn’t matter because it’s the pit, and the user agreement doesn’t apply here.
He’s been doing it more, and more randomly, this past week, so I just thought he was off his meds and had begun a long descent into madness so I cut him some slack. Like many things, it shows how wrong I can be sometimes.

I’ve often tried to give advice to angry people on internet, but it almost never helps. If something annoys you, complaining about it usually is going to make it far worse. (unless it’s actually against the rules)
