Doesn’t look particularly feline. Looks like the generic gothic leather fetishist aesthetic of the last couple of Bat movies. I like Hathaway, but mostly for her comedic roles. Don’t know if I’d buy her in a serious action flick.

Then again, I was much less taken with the Batman reboot than most people appear to be.

That fits Nolan’s M.O. of trying to rationalise the comic book nature of the characters into a logical reality. And it makes sense, since that’s essentially what Catwoman is anyway.

My thoughts are that Nolan has more than earned the benefit of the doubt on any and all casting choices for the foreseeable future.

This is truth. The man could cast the Olsen twins and my reaction would be “great! When’s it in theaters?”

I think Hathaway is a lovely woman, but she’s got a goofy innocence about her that makes it difficult for me to see her as Cat Woman.

Watch “Rachel Getting Married.” She can turn that goofiness off like a switch. The woman’s got acting chops.

Rachel Getting Married is probably the best example, but Passengers and Havoc show her as not goofily innocent as well.

I really don’t like Nolan’s Batman (his Gotham is like an interpretation of what people on some anti-depressants say about flattening the emotional highs and lows come to life on the big screen), but if Anne Hathaway’s in the next one, I might rent it after all.

While Anne Hathaway has proven herself as a decent actress, I would not have figured her for the role of the sexy iconic villaness, Catwoman. But then again, I balked at Michael Keaton being a convincing Bruce Wayne/Batman, and he turned out to be my favorite of all to ever play the roles, while Nolan’s adaptation still remains THE BEST!

Kudos to Ms Hathaway. They just need to ensure that she represents with the curves and contures that a tight cat-suit deserves. I never felt that Michelle Phieffer’s butt was padded enough for me even though she was excellent as Catwoman. While I didn’t like Halle Berry’s embodiment of the character, she looked the best in the cat-suit due to that nice body of hers-namely dat ass! Anne-get started on some beans and rice and pump that booty up. You got everything else.

That was the first movie where I noticed her. Now when I see some of her other flicks, like Get Smart, I think she 's really lowering herself.
