So, aparently Cecil is Bram Stoker's bitch

As if I needed another reason or way to waste time on wikipedia, (This xkcd strip? Totally true.) Lore at Slumbering Lungfish introduces me to this fun new process.

The rule is simple. If Subject A’s Wikipedia page links to Subject B, and Subject B does not link to Subject A, then Subject A is Subject B’s bitch.

Now, this is so simple that we need to make up some rules. First off, mentions in the fiddly little citation sections don’t count. Neither do big dumb lists like “List of Celebrities Who Have at Some Point Eaten Mincemeat Pie.” I don’t think sidebars count, and I’m not sure about those little summary boxes at the bottom of some pages. And of course talk pages, admin pages, and Wikipedia user pages don’t even remotely count.

So using this, Cecil is indeed Bram Stoker’s bitch, as well as A&E Network’s, and Slug Signorino’s. Among his bitches are Peter Norton, Joel D. Wallach, and the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry. If we count cites for the articles, than M&M’s, Marshall McLuhan, and many others are also his bitch.

Also, though some fun transitive properties, if we allow it to exist, people can end up being their own bitches. One commenter found a 3 cycle loop, and I think we can find more. As well as some people who have several bitches while not becoming any one else’s.
