The last Straight Dope collection came out in Feb '99. When can we expect a new book?

Cecil was cryogenically frozen after the last book was published. As soon as they find a cure for whatever ailed him, they’ll unfreeze him and he’ll release a new book chock full of recycled columns - as well as threads from Threadspotting.
Frozen, huh? Well, as long as he’s in there, I hope he has a word with Ted Williams, and suggests that if and when Ted ever gets thawed out he should plant a steel-toed boot into his scumsucking son’s coccyx.
No, I don’t have issues.
Every time this has been asked before. they’ve said that there are too many unsold books in the warehouse to issue a new book. And I suggest that the next book should be titled The Straight Dope Goes to Hawaii. And they ignore my suggestion.
Meanwhile, I hear that Ted Williams’ estate is working on an endorsement contract with Mrs. Paul’s.
