I tried that last time around. I let my membership expire and I think I lasted maybe a couple of days before I just had to post something. Maybe this time around I’ll be able to stretch it out for a week.

I’m in. For 51 weeks a year, I can read my weekend paper while drinking a few coffees and smoking a couple of pipefuls of fine tobacco each week. US$7.50 is a good deal for doing without those things one week a year.

Yeah I’m still here. Though at 400 something posts in 5 years I’ve got to be setting some kind of minimalist record. But I do spend a lot of time here reading.

I used to be a Charter Member, but various life circumstances got in the way of me reupping on time for that gig.

No I haven’t, and no I won’t. I had some fun and gained a lot of knowledge here, but for a few reasons I won’t get into, I decided it would be best not to renew.
I really enjoyed the Dope Fests, and since my wife will be renewing I’ll probably still be attending those. And I’ll still be able to read threads if I want, which is what I mostly do anyway.
So, anyway, there you go.

It’s all good. 
I was the bald, nervous guy with his wife (whom I suspected was having an affair, and voila! she was!) and two children, my lovely little red-haired daughter, and my monkey-boy little blonde guy.
We did the barbecue thang at a park north of Vancouver, WA.
The attendees as I remember: Czarcasm (always list the mods first), you (of course), your wife (I can’t remember her username and am too damn lazy to look it up, please forgive me, ma’am),Hunter Hawk, Aesiron, Cervaise, Fish, and a really charming, nice guy who had done a lot of business in South America. We burned up burgers, hot dogs, and Cervaise burned up a really tasty-looking piece of fish. Czarcasm also brought his fabulous “low carp” [sic] spagetti.
I had a nice time. But like I said, I was rather nervous, so maybe I was kind of forgettable.
I liked you and everyone there. Sorry about forgetting the names, Dopers, I’ve got a lot of things going on (of the unpleasant variety).
By the way, if you remember me, do I speak in an insanely parenthetical fashion?..or is that just my own personal posting weirdness?
