Glad to see you’re back, bro! I have to admit, I was unhappy when I found a ‘guest’ tag under your name. I wish I’d thought of paying for your subscription, but until I get a job fingers crossed, money will be a bit tight. I’m especially glad to see you here because, for one thing, you were the main reason I joined; for another thing, I don’t get to see you often at all, and this is at least something of an approximation. Maybe if I go to VA Tech year after next, I’ll see you, but you may well not still be there by then…
To briefly foray into off-board communication, there were a few people, the first and second times, who offered either to let me use (with repayment) their plastic or who offered to pay outright.
The first time, I was just lazy. The second time, I elected not to renew. (As I indicated at the time, anyone who wants to know why is welcome to contact me elsewhere.)
I expect my location field will be the same (unless I go for a joke or something) this time next year.

It was nothing serious. A little nookie here and there, maybe some hand-holding. I wanted kids, kids wanted him… it just didn’t work out.
And we’re still such good friends after, you know. He’s a really good friend, the kind you know will never make a move on you unless you say so. You can wear anything around him, and he’ll be totally respectful of your friendship.
