The last two achievements will require literally years, unless there are updates before then that make them significantly easier. So you might as well just wait for the updates.
Would it take longer to get the acheivement for 200 of everything or for resetting with one octillion cookies?
200 of everything is doable. But one octillion cookies and the last cursor achievement (I think it’s buying 400 of them) really aren’t.
I was close to 400 cursers when my computer crashed.
Is there any point to appeasing the grandmas? The wrinklers give up 10% more cookies than they eat so angry grandmas seem to be a benefit.

Click the cookie to get cookies. Click the buildings/upgrades to buy them. That’s all there is to it.

You mean other than what’s already in beta (link on top-right of screen)? I believe their current plans are to debug and balance out ver. 1.9 beta and then move it over to the live version.
If you go onto the Cookie Clicker Forums there is a lot of discussion regarding strategy.
My personal view: Golden cookies are the way to make big gains (of course, you also buy Prisms, etc and upgrades which maximum cookie rate). So, focus on getting all the golden cookies upgrades - the ones that give you GC’s twice as often and twice as long.
Eventually you get into a lucrative pattern of GC overlaps: first one is a frenzy, second is a Get Lucky in the frenzy (x7)**. You can click during the frenzy - it can make a difference if you’ve bought all the clicking upgrades.
The Holy Grail in this scenario is getting a Clicking Frenzy while the first Frenzy is still active - the cookies you click here will make your jaw drop.
When idling, let the wrath restart and Wrinklers are your friend.
** this Get Lucky is the value of 20 minutes of current production or 10% of what is your bank currently. So, you have to keep the bank high.

By the time that I get to the angry grandmas stage the game is very much in idle mode for me. Meaningful clicks only come every 5 or 10 minutes. I just don’t have the patience to wait for golden cookies. I feel I am getting near the end of what I am going to do in the game. I have reset 5 times and have grand total of about 305 quadrillion cookies made so far.
I hadn’t realized before that the number of Heavenly Chips you get is not a straight multiple of your all-time cookies; roughly, you have to have baked four times as many cookies all-time to double your Heavenly Chips (or equivalently, twice as many cookies only gets you 142% as much prestige). IOW, the income needed to gain Heavenly Chips is exponential while their yield is linear, just like the buildings.
This more or less means the end of my hopes for advancing. Once you’ve exhausted every possible bonus and multiplier, it’s a game of diminishing returns. (Unless there’s a secret cheat other than hacking the Javascript).
No, the buildings are exponential in price, but the chips are only quadratic, and there’s a world of difference. The net result is that long-term earnings are also quadratic.
Granted, but it still means that it requires ever-lengthening amounts of time to double your production, and since you need 2^10 just to go up one -illion, I don’t see how it’s doable.
So, I came on to announce that I was finally ready to quit, and talked myself out of it while composing the post. :smack:
Currently at 26,000 HC, 120T cps, 85 quintillion baked this game and 338 total at last reset. I have 130 prisms and figure that in about a week, I should have 140 and my total for this game should approximately equal my previous all-time total, so I’ll reset. But when I get back to 140 prisms next reset, it seems like I will still be weeks away from either getting the 150th prism or baking enough cookies relative to all-time total to make resetting worthwhile. We shall see…
In other news, Perfect Idling turns out not to be so perfect, since it doesn’t give you credit for wrinklers. Even so, it often seems to give me less than I think I should have, and I’ve noticed others complaining about that in the forums. So, a nice addition but not really a game-changer.
I have also read that if you close the browser with wrinklers active, all the cookies in those wrinklers go away forever. In my experience I don’t think that’s true, but I’m not sure. Anyone know?
A very simple question I have spent hours looking for an answer to: when you get a Lucky cookie, does that add anything to the total cookies in your wrinklers, or does it just go straight to the bank?

I just got my 150th prism this afternoon, and centenial and a half. And promptly reset. Now at 51636 HC, and already back up to 223TCps inside an hour.
