So, specifically directed toward Bernie supporters...

Nope, it’s the fault of the voters who supported Donald Trump. I don’t care how much you disagree with Clinton: there is simply no way that a reasonably rational informed voter could imagine that Trump would be a better president than Clinton would.
I want an apology from her and every one of you dumb fucks who believed the bullshit story that she was qualified to be president instead of the least accomplished person ever to receive the nomination of a major party except for George W. ‘Shit for Brains’ Bush.
 You are raving. Clinton, whatever one thinks of her candidacy and her brand of insider politics (and she wasn’t my first choice in the primary either), is indisputably extremely well qualified to be president in terms of experience, political savvy, policy sense, and principles (for a politician, at least).

No apology forthcoming. I can’t believe that you are seriously trying to persuade us that because a candidate who was in many ways mediocre but fundamentally thoroughly competent and professional happened to lose the Electoral College (despite a substantial popular vote victory) to a lying egomaniacal huckster with a voter base melting down from demographic/economic angst, it’s the competent candidate who should be apologizing. No way; fuck that noise.

Really? Too bad you have shit for brains.

Then what exactly the FUCK was the point of your OP, Mr. Genius?

Did people abandon the democrats to vote for Trump, or did they just not show up at the polls to vote for Hillary? The later is the direct fault of Hillary and those who thought she could pull those voters in to support her in the places that made a difference.
It’s not as if anyone needed an IQ of 165 to know that she was a dog of a candidate, just the capability to remove their heads from their ass long enough to know that the shit smell was still there.

This was an election between two awful candidates and only dumbasses wanted either one of them. Her experience is a record of failure and lies, she didn’t have enough political savvy to beat Donald Fucking Trump, policy is nothing but bullshit when only the ability to execute policy counts, and there is not one time in her life when she demonstrated any principle except self interest. She wasn’t competent enough to beat an egonaniacal huskster with a voter base melting down from demograpgic/economic angst. Stop blaming everyone else but the person who lost as a result of continuing her record of failure and the people who turned a blind eye to that reality.

I haven’t a world-class IQ, but I can suggest, that by voting someone else, and forwarding FB posts that (dishonestly) painted Clinton in a poor light, they might have had an effect.

Every twat I know who voted for Johnson or Stein was pulsating about it on social media every chance they got. Those idiots (as a mass) surely suppressed voter turnout to some degree by promulgating the idea that Trump and Clinton were equally bad. And creating background noise where everything you heard about Clinton is some scandal or other.

It’s okay. Trump is defunding NASA climate change studies, so human civilization is going to end soon anyway.

So you wanted to have a genuine and thoughtful and measured discussion with Bernie voters?

Suuuuuuuuuure you did.

You’re confusing your IQ score and your SAT score again. Your mommy warned you about that before, when she brought your dinner down to you.

If Hillary couldn’t come out unscathed against a genial figure like Bernie she never had a chance against a radioactive flamethrower like Trump.

That doesn’t really work. For one thing, there’s exactly one new thing Trump came up with–the idea that Clinton was sick, and she pretty much destroyed that.

But, more importantly, Clinton lost because of lower Democratic turnout. These weren’t people who were willing to listen to Trump, but they were willing to listen to Sanders.

Now, to be fair, I’m not sure I can blame that on Sanders. Clinton had unfavorability baked in. But I don’t think Trump made it any lower, really.

Very few outcomes. including Cthulhu, would have been worse than Hillary.

Why?

Pure nonsense; she was a boring but competent politician who would have been an unremarkable President outside of her gender. This idea that that she was some kind of horrible person is wholly manufactured by the lies of the right; going by the evidence (or rather, the lack of evidence of wrongdoing after decades of fanatic effort by the Republicans to smear her) she was probably morally superior to the great majority of American politicians. Or the American public, for that matter.

As opposed to Trump and Pence, both of whom are monsters and utter disasters. A psychopath backed up by a religious fanatic.

Oh, yeah?

Well, I’m carving the turkey today mister smarty pants.

I blame the ignorance of Middle America but I also put the blame on Colin Kaepernick and others like him. Basically, I blame people who like starting social media trends but can’t be bothered to engage in basic civic duties like voting.

People who are screwed by the political system keep screwing themselves even more year after year, election after election, whether it’s angry insecure white males who vote for Trump or frustrated, cynical millennials who believe that voting doesn’t matter just because they didn’t get a raise last year.

This election is really the continuation, perhaps the ultimate outcome, of a long pattern of an incompetent electorate that has gradually handed control of government at all levels to a political party that wants to take this country back to the late 19th Century. It would probably take three or four presidential election cycles to undo the damage that Trump and the republicans are about to inflict on this country.

My bold.

She DID beat Trump. She got more votes. She got 1.7 MILLION more votes than he did, and still counting. Do you see that? She beat him. She won the election.

The electoral college system negated that win, but SHE DID WIN. Almost two million more people voted for her than voted for Trump.

She didn’t lose the election; she won the election.

Are you getting the picture?

The old “we had to kill it to save it” argument? Nahh, I don’t believe that, or anyone peddling it.
I wanted Bernie, but when he lost the nomination, I voted Hillary. So at least the next 4 years of chronic and deliberate stupidity are not on my head.

Wow. You’re a real bad ass there. Does Mommy know you act like this?

This was expected.

Trump didn’t come up with that. It was a conservative meme that had been circulating ever since her first fainting spell and concussion. It was first destroyed in that 37 hour Benghazi hearing, but she brought it back with some unusual behavior, then threw gas on it by collapsing in the street.

Bernie didn’t come up with anything either. He treated her very kindly in the debates, avoided hitting her scandals, and mostly focused on her ties to Wall Street, even saying that America was sick of her “damn e-mails.” Contrast this with Trump, who wanted to lock her up, used any excuse to bring up the e-mails or the FBI, paraded around Bill’s mistresses, and brought up the Clinton foundation pay to play schemes. If you want to blame Bernie for helping tarnish Hillary’s reputation you may as well blame Obama too for saying, “She’ll say anything, and change nothing.” Hillary’s reputation suffered the death of a thousand cuts over years and years.

I’m not sure if it actually *does *mean one is losing the argument - I’ll get a second opinion from my wife, Morgan Fairchild.
