There is a live feed from Forbes on YouTube, but nothing is happening. Was this a planned event, or impromptu, and is there a program or is it ad lib?
I believe it was planned. What’s unusual about today is that the major press organizations decided to stand in solidarity with the banned CNN, which had been regularly scheduled to be in the “pool” which covers events in venues too small to accommodate all press representatives.
Thus there will be less video coverage of the Trump/Mamdani meeting than would usually be the case.

I trust that Mamdani is well acquainted with Diaper Don’s deal making, promises, and phoney threats.
From what I read, it was expected that they’d discuss infrastructure projects (in the NYC area) that have federal input or funding. ICE deportation practices in the area are also on the agenda.
But if Donald’s voice and image aren’t going to be broadcast on TV, all bets may be off. He may be spending the entire time* complaining. (Who would be surprised?)

The New York Times reported that one thing Mamdani wanted the president to support was the redevelopment of the Sunnyside railyards in Queens, which could result in 12,000 new homes.
