So what does everyone want for Christmas?

Well shucks, if you are all gonna chip in and all…

I’d really really love an Ariel Atom!!

If that’s a bit too steep though, I’ll settle for a nice pair of wool socks.

World Peace; a quick death for my last brother for when his time comes; Mental Happiness for my mom and good health & and loads of wealth of my children and friends whom I respect and admire…and Prozac for All!!!111!! Whether they need it or not.

That said,

Gift certs for yarn stores.

Knitting lessons

Gift Certs for Ebay ( ten thou and up, please.)

and a year supply of weekly car washes for my truck.

Oh, and a tummy tuck, new puppy and the magical powers to care about cooking.

How about a heaping portion of irony, instead? :dubious:

Serenity. The movie, not inner peace. It should be out in time; I’m kinda surprised nobody’s mentioned it yet here.

Kingdom Hearts 2. And a PS2 to play it on. And Kingdom Hearts 1.

I suppose I could settle for an obilisk in my honor.

I want my mother not to have Alzheimer’s. I want her to be herself again.

A birdbath. Or gutters, if you’re being generous. Or a little man to pay my heating bills. He can live in the birdbath and do the backstroke.

Cash, which I would put into paying for my wedding in February. I think it’s dumb to throw away all this money on a party, but I agreed to go along with it, and it will be kind of fun…now I just have to spend enough money on it so we won’t be embarrassed in front of all those snooty people we invited.

I could always use another bike (bicycle). A Challenge Fujin would be nice.

Dude? If you get an Atom, you’re gonna need a pair of wool socks. And a lot of other warm clothing :stuck_out_tongue:

A new banjo - preferably a Deering Vega Long Neck.

A heart rate monitor

Dues for my rugby club.

Electric pants.

I’d like to have some new , comfy sweatshirts and sweaters.

A nice gold chain for the Gordon Setter pendant I bought myself.

Unfortunately , since my Dad just died this year, and he was my only living family, I won’t be getting much; I have a couple friends I exchange gifts with , but not many.

Mainly , what I want for Christmas is to not be alone , but that ain’t bloody likely :frowning: .

Well, my girlfriend and I have agreed not to exchange gifts this year; we had our trip to England, which was a real treat, and then my surgery for the crippling injury I acquired in England, which was also a real treat.

However – they’re finally putting out a good DVD issue of the 1933 King Kong . . . .

Leather driving gloves (lined, black, size L)
Memory-foam slippers (size 9)
Maternity Tops (size L, short sleeved, please)
CDs: Fiona Apple “Extraordinary Machine”
Jack Johnson “Brushfire Fairytales”
John Mayer “Room for Squares”
Dave Matthews Band “Live at Red Rocks” or “Weekend on the Rocks” or “Remember Two Things”
Boyd Tinsley “True Reflections”
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: The Chosen Collection 40 DVD set, seasons 1 – 7

Well, material-things-wise, about the only thing I’d really like is some of those fake fireplace logs, so that we can finally use our gas fireplace without making a mess, like we would with real wood.

… what? :dubious:

A beautiful woman that I can love and who can love me.

Lately I’ve found a dozen or so that are the first only and one that is the second only.

sniff

True Blue [and lately self-pitying lonely heart] Jack

A lighter, thinner cell phone, or a BlackBerry.
An iPod.
A cure for Alzheimer’s.
In lieu of that, I’d be fine with gift cards from Trader Joe’s or In-N-Out.

Ok, forget the other stuff I mentioned. All I now want is electric pants. I have no idea what they are, but I imagine they would be slimming and go really nice with my All Stars.

I would like nothing more than a VCR. It doesn’t even have to be new…it doesn’t even have to record; it just has to play the fifty children’s videos I have.

Dang, too bad you live so far away, I usually give away stuff when I upgrade. You should be in luck given the cheap price of new VCR’s. They will drive down the price of used ones.

As for my wishes, I’d like more energy to face the impending job search after my facility shuts down next year.
