Greetings! I was pondering the fact that many threads that I post to seem to die a lonely death. So I did a little research and found that in the last two weeks, I posted in 28 threads, and in 5 of those, I was the last one to post, giving me a 17.857% thread kill rate. While I imagine that’s pretty impressive, I’d like to know how that stacks up against my fellow dopers. So, whattya got?
…and the ultimate irony, of course, would be for this thread to die unposted-to.

AskNott, I now you said to ask not, but please tell use your thread killing presentage. Inquring minds what to know.
I have alread said, mine is 16.2. I calculated it by:
1.Seeing how many threads I have posted in.
2.Dividing that number by 100.
3.Seeing how many thread I was the last poster in, not counting the ones I particpated in, and had people quote me for support of their issues. I then multiplied the number I got by the number from step 2.
I’m not really a thread-killer. It’s more like I post and people ignore me most of the time. And then another (better-known perhaps) poster will come along and say the same thing, and get a response.

For the past two weeks, I’m in 54 threads with seven confirmed kills. That’s a 12.96% death rate.
After I kill this one, that number will jump up to 14.54%.
No way in HELL will I let you kill this thread!

5.5% for the last 200 but I’m sure it used to be worse. Try a search for other threads.
