So, who won the freaking election already?

CNN just projected Dems take control of the House, taking at least 15 seats.

DCCC is now claiming 15 pickups in the house.
If true, the rest of the evening is Gravy.

Maybe not so out of step. NPR just gave the Dems 14 seats out of 15, though they acknowledged that the two tight Georgia House races could affect that.

96% in. Allen’s lead up to 29,000 votes.

Not so much nailbiter… :frowning:

Dangit, the House is awfully nice, but I was hoping to see the Dems capture the Senate too.

Without Webb over Allen, that ain’t likely. Is Tennessee seriously considered to be in play?

There we go. 97% in, and Allen’s lead just got cut bigtime. Only 12,500 votes now. (according to CNN)

Gotta wonder how much the same-sex marriage vote has worked in Allen’s favor. That had to have gotten a lot of conservative voters out to the polls who might have sat it out.

That 1% was Arlington, now 100% in. Richmond City still 1/3 out. That should give Webb another 8,000. PW, another 1000.

Holy crap.

Wow, they’re really going out on a limb on that one!!!

Ford trails Corker by about 48k with 84% reporting

Linky for Ford/Corker:

What’s next for Ford if he loses the Senate seat?

Oh, Dan Rather, how I’ve missed you for election coverage. Thank you, Daily Show.

While I didn’t necessarily think that the Senate would go (D), McCaskill/Talent is still pretty close, with urban precincts yet to report.

What has surprised the hell out of me is that Boyda (D) appears to have not only won over Ryun ® in KS (House race), but actually spanked his narrow white ass and sent him home to pule alone. And Bush fils actually showed up to shore Ryun up recently. And it’s in freakin’ Kansas. Kansas. As recently as ten years ago, I would have laughed in the face of anyone who forecast what is happening.

Day-um. . .

Arlington showing as 98% in, so I either misread that 100%, or CNN made a correction.

Quick survey of the other counties shows that what’s remaining is pretty much a wash. Maybe another 500 for Webb.

I predict Allen, by 3000 votes.

(again, disregarding absentees)

CNN is showing Webb trailing Allen by about 10k votes. In the for what it’s worth department, an independent, Parker, has nearly 25k votes…

True – a full six years. His Presidential aspirations for 2008 are one with Nineveh and Tyre.

I probably got this link from this very thread, I apologize if so:

These would be the official unofficial Virginia results. I assume they’re more up-to-date than the TV calls. That’s under 7k votes difference…
