So, who won the freaking election already?

Hmmm…I’m gonna second-guess myself and say this one’s still alive. Webb trails by only about 8500 votes with still a lot of outer-suburb precincts (Loudoun and Prince William counties) to report still, plus cities like Norfolk, Petersburg, Richmond and Roanoke still far from complete.

Damn! Oh, well, better get a better source of news.

Right here is what I figure. We’re self-correcting.

…and Santorum is history. God but it feels good to be a part of that.

Don’t it though!

Very true!

Surf’s Up! Blue wave coming thru…
Dems +3 in the Senate and +3 in the House. Rick the Dick gets blown away in PA.

Anybody wanna boogie to some Beach Boys tunes tonight? Oakie needs him a lil surfer girl…

BBC’s reporting Lieberman’s won. No cite, i’m watching the live stream.

Buh. I’m bummed about Lieberman, who does appear to have a lock.

Is John Kerry going to win?

Which, if anyone’s interested, is here (click the “Watch Live” bit under the elections headline; currently it’s playing Santorum’s concession speech).

Chafee’s projected to lose, giving the Democrats half the seats they need to take the House. By the way, it’s only 10.

I never thought I’d be saying this about a Democrat victory, but nonetheless, here it is:

CBS at this moment projecting Dems 9 up out of the 15 they need to win the house and 2 up ou of the 6 they need to win the House. They’re also giving the Dem incumbents in NJ (Menendez) and Maryland the win. Rising tide and all that, but still early numbers.

In looking at the House races in Pennsylvania, 5 Republican incumbants are trailing badly, with a sizable percentage of the precincts reporting, including mistress beater Don Sherwood and the corrupt Curt Weldon. (This is based on the numbers I’m seeing flashing on CNN, so I don’t have a link.)

Maybe he lost Lamont’s election.

er, make that 2 up out of the 6 they need to win the Senate.

BBC says Menedez and Schwarzenegger have kept their seats.

CNN says the Dems will pick up 3 FWIW.

I’ve been switching back and forth between Fox and MSNBC. Can’t really tell much difference. Kristol is now saying 30 or 40 in the House for the Dems, although I thought he said “only” 30 last night. Looks like VA may go for Allen. That will be a squeeker. Senator Sanitorum (as Tony calls him) gave his consession speech-- man, does he have 2 dorky looking sons… no wonder they get home schooled.

Did I hear correctly that we now have a Muslim in the House? That should be interesting…

Corker’s leading by 5% now. :frowning:

And Webb is still trailing by 20k, with 88% reporting. Assuming Montana goes to Tester and counting Lieberman as a Democrat, it still looks like 50-50 in the Senate, with Cheney having the tie-breaking vote. Right?

On the other hand, Santorum’s made a concession speech already…
