Here’s an idea: go to a thread where SHE (thanks for the gender clarification, What Exit?) has been quite active, maybe even heatedly, and copy verbatim one of her posts, and then post it as if it’s your own thoughts. I bet that will shock her into ignoring you, especially if you preface it with “Hey, I just thought of something I had never even considered before…”
Report back on how that goes for you.

Are there any other egotistical dumbshits who immediately vanity-searched this thread and, on finding Ender’s post, realized what an egotistical dumbshit they are?
Actually I didn’t vanity search it, I just read it like you’re supposed to do with threads, and then, upon seeing her post I was struck by not only the number of people on it but the fact there appeared to be no common denominator among them. I was also struck by the fact that I wasn’t on it. But then, four from the bottom, there I was.
I don’t have an ignore list. Not only do I read (or at least skim) the posts of Poster A (who I think is a doofus) even though the posts of Poster A are drooling drivel not worth responding to, sometimes my mood causes poking Poster A in the eye with a sharp stick to be cathartic.
Oh, PLEASE say it’s me. I never get mentioned in the flirting threads, nobody ever Pits me, and I didn’t even get mentioned in ender’s mondo extremo ignore list. I am like … like… like something that is really hard to get noticed.
Maybe it is my excellent facility with similes that makes me so memorable.
I am too egotistical a dumbshit to do vanity searches. Vanity searches imply self-doubt, and while I am in fact ripe with self-doubt (along with self-deprecation, self-loathing, self-abuse, and self-shelfing), I am not about to ADMIT it.
I’ve had 5 people on my ignore list. Three of them have been banned. One hasn’t been around for more than 4 months, so hopefully they’re gone for good of their own volition. The last one I only recently got fed up with and put on ignore. With any luck, the trend will continue.
