What’s with this one? He only has 15 posts and he has 3.5k replies from Burpo alone? If you start a thread, does every reply in that thread count as a direct reply to you? Some of you game thread folks must have huge “replied to” numbers.

What I am seeing is a schism between those Dopers who “Reply To Thread” and those who “Reply To Post.”
I do both, depending, so who knows what that means?
I wonder if that’s the cause of the DealMeln count I asked about above? I never even thought of “reply to thread” making a difference. I rarely use that option.
