I was completely surprised by the entire list for me.

For me, they are:
@Beckdawrek - 1.7K
@panache45 - 1.6K
@Elendil_s_Heir - 946
@Prof.Pepperwinkle - 538
Not entirely surprising, as these are enthusiastic participants in Thread Games, as am I. Plus Beck’s “bad, bad, bad” threads in MPSIMS as well, to which I will often post. Then, we have
@edspellman - 478
Which surprises me, because while I do remember interacting with Ed a few times, I don’t recall interacting that many times.
And finally, we’ve got
@Cat_Whisperer - 447
Which again surprises me, because I thought that Cat and I had a lot more than that, over the twenty-plus years we’ve been in touch here.
An interesting exercise!
Mine. These are from thread games — thousands of replies.
Sampiro — 6,800
RaftPeople — 2,800
Zeldar — 2,000
Idle_Thoughts — 2,000
Elendil’s_Heir —917
Mean_MrMustard — 771
Mine are also largely cricket related:
@Cumbrian
@Stanislaus
@lisiate
@glee
@Dead_Cat
@AK84
Of those, I think only glee isn’t from the cricket threads.
How’zat then?
I’ve never considered myself a lurker, but I may have to after seeing some of the numbers in this thread.
My top five are:
Cat_Whisperer 31
flatlined 30
Grrr 22
Which tells a lot about how much I (don’t) post, since I’ve been here since June '07.
And I hope flatlined is doing ok. Anyone know her? Last posts were well over a year ago and her impaired friend was in the hospital with Covid
@panache45 - 241
@Elendil_s_Heir - 205
@Intergalactic_Gladiator - 190
@Annie-Xmas - 186
@Prof.Pepperwinkle - 133
@Bullitt - 124
Lots of Haiku Madness players up in here.
mmm
I’m starting to suspect he hacked the reply count function somehow.
I’ve wondered the same. Sadly, I have no direct contact with her, but I think of her cats often.
Okay. Just so’s I understand (y’all know I sometimes have comprehension problems, due to being pathologically literal-minded): the list of “most replied to” on my profile page is the names of people that I have replied to the most, correct?
My list is
@Rick_Kitchen - 305
@asahi - 259 (remember him?)
@Snowboarder_Bo - 183
@Elendil_s_Heir - 170
@JohnT - 160
@running_coach - 153
What I want to know is who has replied to ME the most?
A couple of notes:
I’m assuming this count is triggered by (1) if you hit the “reply” arrow in a post by the person listed, (2) or if you quote the person with a quote box in your reply.
If you mention another poster and you want them to get a notification that you did, then put the @ in front of their name, e.g., @ThelmaLou. Even if their name is in the body of the post, this will trigger a notification to them. So, for example, the following did not trigger a notification to me or anyone else in this list (which is perfectly okay, just illustrating):
Literally the only subject I know anything about is baseball so we all know why I’m on the list.
Based on mine, I assume that if you post in a thread, that’s counted as a “reply” to the OP of the thread. At least, I assume that’s why @Sampiro is at the top of my list with 2.6 thousand replies, and most of the others were the OPs on Canadope threads.
Life is not all about you.
@EinsteinsHund 29
@kayaker 28
@k9bfriender 21
@Colibri 16
@Whack-a-Mole 16
@running_coach 15
Half what I expected, the other half not at all.
Based on mine: nope. Otherwise my highest reply number would be much higher than 29.
Yikes! I doubt that. Otherwise numbers would be much higher.
Since when??
Never would have guessed.

Mangetout 4
Elendil_s_Heir 3
i also mostly reply to a thread rather than an individual poster.
@SenorBeef - I assume mostly Game Room chatter and PC stuff (340)
@Agent_Foxtrot - No idea but I’m gonna guess politics/election based on their profile history (281)
@Chronos - Game Room and general chatter across the boards (149)
Ironically, I recently had someone ask me about my frequent responses to them and they’re not in my Top Six. Which isn’t to say I haven’t been inadvertently responding a lot lately (so their perception is valid) but I saw this thread and expected to see them there.
