So one of the sentences in my personal statement hypes my ability to work with a sharp eye for detail. Just before I printed it out to send it off, I caught the only typo in the whole damn essay. Where? Yeah. In that sentence–“an” instead of “a”.
Had I sent the statement off this way, would I have been able to invoke Gaudere’s Law or some corollary thereof whilst I banged my head repeatedly against my desk?
