Song ID, please

I heard a song yesterday that I hadn’t heard for a while, and I can’t recall the artist or name of the song. The chorus is as follows:

Anyone know who this is, or what it’s called? Any clues are greatly appreciated.

Eye In The Sky by The Alan Parsons Project

Thanks so much.

OK, I wasn’t sure if I should start a new thread for a different song or just use this one…

This is one of those songs that you hear on “lite rock” type stations. I am pretty sure it was originally from the 70s. I thought it might be by Seals and Crofts, but I checked their lyrics page and could not locate it. It is definitely by an act of that same general genre…the 70s mellow, sensitive “singer-songwriter” genre.

Anyway, about the song itself. It is basically a love song that goes through the seasons. The first verse is about winter and I can’t recall much of the lyric except something about “warm by the fire…” The second verse is about summer and makes reference to the couple writing each others’ names in the sand and so on. The third verse combines the autumn and spring and has the lyric “you’re here and then you’re gone away…oh, i just wanted to say…won’t you please, please stay…” I am pretty sure that the chorus is simply “I’m fallin’ (repeated several times, with the word “fallin’” stretched way out)…in love with you.”

Who does this song, and what is the actual title???

Falling by LeBlanc & Carr. Their only U.S. Top 40 hit – #13 in 1978.

Thanks for the answer. I never heard of the band name before…but it seems like I hear the song often enough.
