Sons of Anarchy Season 6 Premiere

This, in spades. Her taking her place at Jax’s side when Clay was booted was out of character and unbelievable, but her suddenly turning 180 degrees is into serious WTF territory. Especially at this point.

The cabin has been in club hands for decades but is an absolutely secret safe house. Riiiiighht.

Just like the “warehouse,” known to dozens of minor players, is completely hidden from the police. Didn’t the whole show start when their existing warehouse was burned (by Mayans?), precipitating a crisis of having no safe place to store and transfer guns?

So, some plot wrap-up and some drama before the season finale. Wonder what they are going to do with Tara. Personally, I would like to see this season end with her plot line terminated.

I get that Tara’s conflicted, but now she’s just determinedly stupid.

Yeah, I’m damned tired of the Tara storyline they’ve run, especially this season, and I wouldn’t be bothered if she got killed off next week. Probably won’t happen, but they need to resolve that crap.

Anybody else wish that they’d let Lin hurl a “Cocksucka!” at Happy right before he finished him off?

Damn another series chasing a baby, damn

Yeah, I have to admit, I saw that one coming.

I did like the (not so subtle) timing - just a soon as Jax feels like he’s finally saved the MC, within the hour, he finds out he’s lost his family.

Hah! Hell yeah! Every time they showed his mug on the TV, I kept yelling: " COCKSUCKA!.. Swearengen!.. Sanfrancisco!.."

As I’ve said, it was mildly unbelievable that Tara would take up a stand as Queen Old Lady. Her sudden turn to what most of us would regard as a sane position is completely unfounded, out of the blue and unbelievable. Crap writing.

I think Tara’s arc will be resolved in the closer - probably ending in Jax’s arms, promising to be good but everyone will Know she Can’t Be Trusted Anymore.

But last night’s script was the best in years - jammed with foul, raunchy humor we haven’t seen since the first season. Honest, a lot of episodes could have been filmed with the crew in suits around a board room table and not a word would have to be changed. Last night… I backed up and replayed about ten snips of dialogue just to hear them again.

Hell, yeah. I mean, they did do a hilarious Sopranos riff with Andrea Di Matteo in the first season.

I, for one, will be disappointed if Jimmy Smits isn’t allowed to get in just one - just one! - line about “not growing up to be President” or something like.

I have to admit, the scene with Nero (Jimmy Smits) consoling Jax in his missing kid’s room while smoldering at his betrayal was very well done…

Can someone refresh my memory on what’s going on with that? How was Nero betrayed?

The mother of the school shooter. Juice suffocated her, but Jax told Nero that it was an accidental O/D, and not a call by him to kill her.

I agree, it was a simple scene and as powerful as any of the intense material that came before it. Smits doesn’t have a lot of range, but within his zone he is an incredible actor. I wouldn’t want to be Jax when he blows.

Yeah that is going to be a major plot line next season, the mayans are going to force him to face up to his duties as a latino. So here’s hoping there are more intergang fights and less politics and baby chasing

Ah, thanks. I forgot about that. She needed kill’n though.

Yeha but now good ol’ Juice is going to be a crying little girl all next season and of course he will betray the club again. It’s getting too easy to read the plot lines but i must admit I got caught out by old man getting killed.

That’s not gonna happen.

hmmm I see him being either drawn down into a Tig type who has now crossed the line or a disillusioned person who sees that the club is an evil empire we will wait and see.

My WAG is that Juice gets killed in the season finale. We almost need to have pool on which character gets offed next, especially heading into the presumed final season.

Any thoughts on last night’s season finale? Will spoiler in case folks are catching up:

Glad Tara is gone, but didn’t expect it to come at the hands of Gemma. Sloppy police work, allow a witness entering Witness protection against an MC to enter a house without checking (but one has to suspend belief in the town of Charming). Didn’t buy that Jax would actually enter jail, so knew there was some crazy ending coming. Wonder how this will play out with Juice next season.
