I base this claim on the frequency of Cleveland / Northeast Ohio dopefests, and the concentration of mods in the area.

Wishful thinking… I’m a Cleveland native, but now live 350 miles away. I visit quite a bit, but (alas) never at the right time to attend a Dopefest.
:bump: I bump because I am interested in this thread. Also, there seem to be many Baltimore/Washington, DC Dopers, including yours truly, but not as many as Cleveland or Chicago.
I hate to inform you all of this, but I am the center of the Doper universe.

Well I don’t know about the “**Centre ** of the Universe”, but I have it on excellent authority that Manhattan is the “**Center ** of the Universe”.
There are a lot of MADs, but we don’t seem to socialize as much lately. Or maybe I’ve quit looking at such threads since I live in the boonies, and most venues are at least 90 minutes away. Last gathering I attended was over 2 hours away. But it was close to my mom’s so I combined Doping with quality Mom-time.
Much as I’d love to host a Dopefest at my place, I figure the attendance would be pitiful. So I live my life in solitude among the Amish of St. Mary’s county…
How pathetic does that sound??
