Soy Nut help

there used to be a snack product that was formatted very salty soy nut replacement, it was a little rectangle of extruded and baked/fried soy paste. It tended to be a darkish brown - but not the funny twig like ones.

Anybody know if they still make them and what they are called? All I get is round roasted soybeans like corn nuts …

I know the stuff you’re talking about. It looked like little squares of corrugated cardboard.

I’ve only seen it in places that sell bulk food. Trader Joe’s might carry something like that, but unfortunately, they don’t really show all their products on the website.
