Spell Check Just Appeared

Spell check showed up on my computer, stayed for 2 days and left again. I really liked it as it worked in all my forums. I have no idea how I turned it on or if it was a function of AOL. Puzzled here.

Perhaps you can re-install it from your complimentary AOL CD-ROM.

In Firefox Tools or Preferences, there is an option to check spelling under Advanced/General.

Maybe it’s been on all along but you’ve never made a mistake.

Had you told us what kind of device, what OS, what browser or other apps suddenly had spell check under what ciswrcumstances, what else you changed in the same timeframe, etc., we could have maybe provided some real help.

Absent all that I’m going to guess it was caused by the unusually high tides of the last couple of days.

You you might want to first take the beam out of your own eye there…

Guilty as charged. :o

Bolding mine.

Karma’s a cast iron Bitch isn’t she?

On the computer in question aol is my default browser as far as I know. I will be back over there tomorrow and try and check further. Not sure what browser internet explorer uses but I usually always log into aol before going online. If it come back up I will see if it works on internet explorer as well.

:checks to see if this is a zombie…:

Internet Explorer IS a browser. So is FireFox. So is Chrome. Really, as LSLGuy mentioned. A big first step would be to let us know what operating system you are using.

Yeah, silly git that she she is…:smack: :stuck_out_tongue:

[I did that last part on purpose…]

Sounds like it’s AOL.

Are you a time traveler from the 1900s? Yeah, it sucks about Kurt Cobain.

Windows 7 is my operating system, I usually buy a new compueter about every 5 years and have never really had much need to learn anything about them. I go to a few web sites, do some browsing, word processing, photos and thats it.
