Oh c’mon. If Spidey can dodge bullets, laser bolts, and Super-ninja-with-big-sword, you really think he can’t whup some punk with a lightsaber, no matter how good they are with it?
Spidey had a long stint on The Electric Company. The Jedis didn’t even have a decent showing on that atrocious Christmas special.
Spidey wins.
A Dark Jedi is a Jedi who fell to the dark side of the Force.
a Sith is one who was trained to be dark from the onset.
Darth Vader is a Sith Lord…uh, something ain’t right here…
ANYWAY…
Individual Jedis seem to have unique powers:
Vader has ability to deflect blaster bolts,
Obi-Wan Kenobi has ability to disappear at death,
Emperor Palpatine has power to shoot lightning,
Luke has ability to bring back those in the Dark Side.
Yeah, but he can only do that trick once. Some power.
Are you serious? Jedi have all sorts of mind tricks, and Spidey has supernatural constitutiion, strength, and agility. He’s also really clever and smart. And he’s got spidy sense. Can’t forget the spidy sense.
As others have stated, the Jedi Mind Trick isn’t gonna work on Parker: He’s too smart, and he’s shown in the past that he can handle mental attacks easily.
Jedi’s can run fast, but Spidey’s faced speedsters before: He’s beaten Quicksilver, and Speed Demon is his personal bitch.
As stated previously, Jedi TK has never been used to hold a living person helpless, and I don’t see pushing Spidey back as being much of a deterant. Spidey can do crazy-ass acrobatics, flipping all over the place. By the time the Jedi has a chance to focus on Parker, it’s lights out.
As far as lightning bolts, just ask Electro how well electricity has worked for him.
So, unless you’re talking aobut Luke THe Uber Jedi in some of the non-canon future stories I’ve seen, then Spidey would win.
I suppose we ought to consider terrain in our calculations. In an open field, for example, I’d expect the Jedi to do a bit better, because Spidey wouldn’t be able to make use of his wall-crawling and web-swinging abilities, and the Jedi would stand a better chance of catching Spidey flat-footed and giving him a big mental shove or something. Still, I’m sure Spidey could disable the Jedi with a splorchy blob of web to the face and snag their sabers. I mean, blocking laser blasts with a lightsaber is one thing, but a splorchy blob of web would likely at least partly get through, eventually.
Indoors, in a cityscape, or in thick forest, Spidey all the way. He can block off corridors with webs, fight from the walls or ceiling, well out of reach, and just take 'em apart.
But now, friends, we must ask ourselves the really, really deep question:
Spidey vs. Yoda!
The other day I caught a sneak peek at bootleg footage of Yoda fighting, and he is one seriously bad-ass little mofo. This one’s too close to call. Your thoughts!
I hate those splorchy blobs
Here’s a match-up between Spidey and Skywalker, plus others:http://pages.prodigy.com/crossovers/#vs
Anyone who actually thinks that Spidey has anything in his arsenal to disarm a well-trained jedi master is seriously mistaken. Spiderman can’t get close to our jedi friend or its lights out for him. So he has to keep his distance and that pretty much leaves him to his web. No matter how much webbing he shoots the jedi would just burn it up with his saber.
C’mon, folks. Think about this. Yoda is supposed to be one of the most powerful Jedi ever, and he has to concentrate completely and do nothing else for 30 seconds just to lift an X-wing fighter and move it a few feet. Spidey could do that in a trice, and then throw it at the Jedi.
Sure, a Jedi’s got the sabre, but Spidey’s agility and dexterity should allow him to get close enough for at least one punch before the sabre cuts him in half. And one punch from Spidey can knock any Jedi for a loop.
Hey, I’m with the Union. Let me tell you something. If we saw these two fighting where we’re on contract, you can bet we’re gonna pull outta that deal.
