He’s a newbie to Mafia.
Hey, what about Oredigger? Why doesn’t he want a Seeker lynch? It’s like he’s defending Seeker but you’d think he’d know better than to do that if they really are both wolves.
Oh, I will.
And when I do, I guarantee you’ll all go :smack: OOHHH! :smack:
Unless someone figures it out before hand.
Okay, black and purple.
We had green and red for november, and…what’d we get for me? Aqua and teal?
My prediction: Oredigger’s a lycanthrope who’s trying to clean up the mess that Seeker just made.
This is one of the things I am spoiled about, and honestly I am surprised that no one has picked up on the answer yet. Maybe after one more run they will see it.
Ooh. Explain more, pls. I was thinking that Oredigger seems to be the only townie that isn’t getting strung along by this ploy.

What’s the testerizer raw data? I’ll take a crack at the puzzle.
Just the whole “We know Seeker’s prolly a wolf, but let’s save him for a rainy day” gives me a weird vibe. If we KNOW, why not just get rid of him?
Apparently, fluid sees it, too. I’m glad they’re not all going to blindly follow Oredigger with his Don’t let’s lynch Seeker even if we know he’s a wolf.
If you think he’s really a wolf, DON’T put off killing him. You don’t have that kind of time. You’ve already lost way too many townies.
Is the assertion that this is a solvable puzzle?
From my viewpoint the only viable conclusion is that the testerizer yields random results. There hasn’t even been one repeated color.
For there to be pattern it would have to be a non-color pattern. Something with the words. Green has five letters and red has three for a sum of 8. Similarly Aqua plus Teal equals 8. Black plus Purple sums to 11.
But there isn’t enough data to draw conclusions from that.
It *is *a solvable puzzle, but you’re right, it isn’t solvable yet. There isn’t enough data yet for it to be obvious.
NAF, do you know the solution? Like, did pedescribe tell you?
Yeah, he did way back when it started. So I don’t want to say more than that I think sach is right and there isn’t enough information to figure it out yet.
ETA: But I do think it will be crackable eventually. Just not until tomorrow at the soonest.
Makes sense, but I think Oredigger opposes killing him on the grounds that it seems to be what he wants to happen. And it’s probably not a good policy to give wolves what they want.
Also, I should have added to that last line that Seeker is definitely a farmer.

True. I don’t know, I guess I kind of just started disregarding what he wanted, and just looked at him as something to be rid of.
No matter who dies on Friday, it’s going to be a super interesting lynch.
ETA: Also the whole “I’m not really a wolf, I wanted to see what you would say, GOTCHA YA!” kind of reminded me of when some posters would post racist/bigoted stuff and then say stuff like, “Just kidding, I wanted to test you guys!” It just rings really untrue to me. If it turns out that Seeker is a vanilla townie, I’m going to be in awe of what a horrible player he was.
Well, everyone’s turning on Seeker, obviously, but I did have to laugh at Telcontar’s line of “nuke him till he glows, then shoot him in the dark.”
Whoa, Oredigger has some really bad notions. “Pretend Seeker is a wolf and read all his stuff with that assumption in mind without actually testing it”? BAAAAD idea - what if Seeker is really just a Vanilla Farmer that played it bad? You’re then making assumptions that Seeker’s acting on knowledge when he isn’t.
Hrm, interesting theory that Seeker was trying to set Telcontar up to go down next day, but makes no sense. If Seeker’s a wolf, and Tel’s town, then it would’ve been in Seeker’s best interest to just keep his yap shut, because **Tel **was drawing dang near all the suspicion already. Makes no sense to suddenly claim wolf just to “set up” Tel - especially since it looks like Oredigger is living up to his name and digging himself a hole labeled “WolfTrap” with his insistence that they lynch someone besides Seeker toDay.
And I’m still not happy with Elendil’s Heir’s play. He’s gonna swing soon if he ain’t careful. I get being busy and all, but…wow.
The first time I ever came across that phrase was in the computer game “Wasteland”, which was copleted in 1987 and first released in 1988.
I wonder where it originated from.
Ah, why is Seeker showing his role PM? The role PMs for ordinary roles were already posted by pedescribe. So they’re irrelevant.
Unless he’s forgotten this and really is a townie.
Or unless he’s just found the role PM in the thread and is a wolf and is hoping no one else realizes that the role PMs are avail.
I hope the town doesn’t disregard everything that Oredigger is saying just because they think he’s scum. The fact that EH hasn’t actually said anything of substance yet is really significant, and he needs to be pressured into saying something besides, “um…yeah, I agree with everyone. String 'em up.”
