I have a few bags of clothes that need to go to Goodwill. I finally washed my car after <mumble> months. Someday I will vacuum it.
We need to do some spring cleaning around here. There is talk of renting a Rug Doctor and going to town on the bedroom, hallway, and living room. Peter’s last gift to me, apparently, was peeing behind the computer. Thanks, cat. Thanks.
I’m thinking that would scare my cat. Probably not the intended purpose.
The brownies were a big hit today. I think I’ll be making them again. Soon.

I’m home, too. Have been for a few hours. **FCD **and I just had a nice dinner. Shortly, I’ll do the dishes and glom some more mud on the ceiling patch. Then veg.
Tomorrow will be a late morning. I’m going with my sweetie to meet with his surgeon and talk about the procedure, as well as prep and recovery. Maybe I’ll get a little extra sleep - I need it after the crappy night I had last night.
I can’t believe so many of you would want the lions. My daughter wants to paint them. I just want them to go away…
**dangermom **- the people who owned this place before us left their “collections” behind - consisting of way more smoke detectors than one small house needs and more thermometers I’ve ever seen in one place at one time - there were THREE in the freezer in the garage!! :eek: Oh, and there were (I think) 11 garbage cans, and at least 6 rakes and 5 or 6 snow shovels. All this crap owned by two people. Two odd people. The kind of people who would buy concrete lions… 
**BBBobbio **- it was gorgeous here, too. But we’ve still got some snow on the ground! It’ll be gone in the next day or two - either the temps or the rain will take care of it.
Time to get back to my chores. The dishes won’t wash themselves…

Dindin was nummy! I’ve said it before, but, I make dang good fried chicken! No peach cobbler though. The peaches failed to inspire so they went back to the pantry. Perhaps they shall decide to inspire within the next few days.
I think I shall go relaxate for a bit. OYKW ate and left. He has a buncha paperwork to do poor thing. Also, I have Vestry meeting in a little while so it ain’t like we could have spent much time together. Le Sigh.

I’ve got all kinds of extra garden stuff (go figure), extra crafty stuff and Christms stuff, probably extra kitchen stuff. I’ve been going through the house and taking pictures also. I’m trying to sort things into sell, donate, pitch categories, and am pitching as I go, but it’s hard to get enough time and energy to do this consistently.
I’ve lived in my house for more than 10 years now and, boy is it time for a sale. We have a community yard sale in May; I might participate this year.
Off to find food.

Well, I go to the local beauty school because it is both cheap and entertaining, but there are no snacks there. Just coffee and water.
I would like to state for the record that I am a moron. I know, there are some who would wholeheartedly agree.
I’m starting a new project and my first meeting for it is tomorrow. I’ve got a bunch of tasks to complete, which I thought I had already done. The list is on a webpage and I went back to review it today and I realized that by *scrolling down the page *that there were about 5 more steps that I needed to do! :smack::smack::smack:
Fortunately, I have some more time to get the rest of the stuff done but I felt like such an idiot.

Skyped with the boyfriend yesterday. They finally moved his dad over to the city hospital, which is progress. We’re hoping that they get some tests done this week so we can get some answers.
I probably have all kinds of stuff I could get rid of. But, for the time being, it’ll sit there.
Not much going on here in Taterland. We actually had snow flurries today, but none of it stuck. Thank goodness.

Spent more time online than originally planned. Little brother has meetings here today and tomorrow, so he’s spending the night. You’d think that would result in less online time, but no…we each wind up looking up various and sundry stuff to show each other.
As for baby…I checked LiLi’s blog and there hasn’t been an update since Thursday. Baby didn’t seem imminent at the time.
Glad there’s a bit of progress with IB’s dad.
Guess I’ll finish reading book club book and fall asleep.

What an evening…
I ended up driving out to a campground out in the Jerusalem mountains to pick Special Teen up from her school trip – she tripped and twisted her ankle.
Got it X-rayed and it’s definitely just a twist, not a dislocation – and there’s no permanent damage – but she’ll definitely be limping for a few days.
Got home (for good, after being home for about 5 minutes on the way to pick her up) at about 11 PM…
It’s a good thing that Armageddon isn’t the only place I’m less than an hour’s drive away from…
