Went shooting this AM to blow off the stink and regain my happy face and I did. And then I got to irk to find out I drew the one assignment I hate/detest/loath/totally suck at. And it didn’t go well.
As my wife says, there are some days even all the chocolate in Hershey PA can’t fix.
Well it worked (kind of) there hasn’t been a booze pun since. I guess I was able to, ummm, wash them away!
Okay, I’ll ask (but I’m not sure I want to know the answer); were you targets made of paper…or flesh? :eek:
The tailgate was good, but the game sucked. Oh well.

So much for sleeping in. My circadian rhythm thinks I should be up at 5. I tried rolling over, but I gave up at 5:30. Higgs has been fed, I’m nearly done with my breakfast, and Taz is on The List.
The whole time I was in the kitchen, he kept jumping up on the counters, especially the one by the sink, and I kept sending his butt back to the floor. Naturally, while I was at my computer, he jumped back up and knocked over the cuttings I was rooting on the windowsill above the sink. So I got to stop and clean up that mess.

**FCD **is still asleep, which is good. Part of the reason he took the time off was to get some rest. And to finish some work in his shop so he can get ready to paint his bike. It’s got to warm up a bit down there, but he’s still got some prep work to do.
Speaking of warm, it got below freezing last night! What’s the deal with that?!?!?

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeinated and purtified, so no YAWN. ‘Tis 59 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of <snerk> 69! <snerk> for the day with afternoon/evenin’ rain/tstorm/apocalypse in the forecast. In a few minutes we’re headin’ over to Pearly’s for brekkie. YUM! Also, at some point later this afternoon, no doubt right when it’s stormy, I shall head over to the church house to help unload a bounce house for tomorrow’s big event, Lap A Leprechaun, which is a 5/10 K run and a one mile fun walk event. There will be a bounce house and other stuff for the kidlets to partake of whilst their ‘rents run, I guess. Anywho I shall do that and also be there tomorrow mornin’ to help with parkin’ and then clean up afterwards. I’m told a hunnert or so runners/walkers are expected. We shall see.
Ok, that’s the news from south Jawja this mornin’. OYKW is now ready so we shall go forth to eat brekkie and then, le sigh, to irk.

I’s a sunny 32 degrees outside, supposed to warm up to 53.
Life is screwy sometimes.
I get monthly reports from Credit Sesame and Credit Karma. I can’t remember which is which and I’m not going back to look but since buying the house my credit score went up 31 points on one of them and down 29 points on the other.
When I went to the doctor a few weeks ago I wad told I had an outstanding bill of $140. I didn’t know anything about it or why, so the receptionist asked me if I would like to receive a bill from them. Well, duh, how am I supposed to know I have a bill if they don’t tell me???!!! This was a few weeks ago and I still hadn’t gotten a bill so I called yesterday only to be told I now owe $205 and to give it another week and call back if I haven’t gotten a bill.
Today I got an e-bill and I owe $29.12. That is twenty nine dollars and twelve cents. How did I go from $205 yesterday to $29.12 today?
Not that I’m complaining, but WTF?

Anyways, this morning I went to a local cafe and drank a coffee while reading a comic book I’m borrowing from my sister.
I hope I can get enough practicing in today. I have a gig at the end of the month, and have to learn some music for it.
As usual, there is much to do. Let’s see if I can get a quarter of it done.

Tis Firday, the end of an annoying week at irk and at home. Tomorrow I’m meeting a group of friends for our quarterly ingestion of giant burgers and onion loaf (think thin onion rings pressed into a giant loaf). I will be ill tomorrow night but in a good mood. Sunday I’m just hanging at home cleaning. I’m actually looking forward to doing nuffin!
Lava seems a bit excessive.
On the up side, when I called my insurance company, they had not credited me with the $50 co pay. On the downside, in January they gave us a $500 deductible and I wrote a check for some $62.00. The state caved when they renew the contract.

I use that expression, and have been corrected, even by other Arkansans.
