Spring Into The MMP!

You forgot “hold my beer”.

Yay me!

That too.

Ribs are a’smokin’! It’s smelling good out there! Brats will go in about 3 for the last 2 hours. Then I’ll need to find freezer space. We bought a dozen snow crab clusters - that’s tomorrow’s supper. Yum!

I also read how to make beef jerky in the smoker - I guess that’ll be the next experiment.

Whites are out of the dryer - guess I should pair up some socks, huh?

emily, you could get ambitious and shoot for half. :stuck_out_tongue:

shoe, Tennessee English uses the plural as well.

It looks like I’ll get to duck out early today. Tomorrow, I’ll be at the St. Pat’s festival downtown and possibly sitting in a set with a friend’s Irish band.

It’s nice to have appliances that help you cook/make food. (is “appliances” the right word here?) My family recently got a new breadmaker. And of course, our doughnut maker is fun, though we haven’t had reason to use it in a while.

I’ll call the smoker an appliance - you plug it in, just like a fridge or a blender!

I can’t believe how good the ribs are smelling - I’m sure the cherry wood has a lot to do with it. In about 10 minutes, I’ll have to put some more chips in, then half an hour after that, the bratwursts go in. I think I’ll pull them out of the fridge to start warming a bit.

Howdy from da cave! I hereby officially declare it the weekend! :: Opens Beer ::

Burgers 'n fries for dindin. I have lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles to go on the burger so as to make 'em all healthy.

MOOOOOOM I say my smoker, outdoor cooker, and grill are all appliances. I call the little covered deck they live on my outside kitchen.

swampy’s having fries on a Fryday!

blurf

FCM: “Hey there, Mr. Sock, it’s Friday eve & I know a *loooovvvveeeely *white tube that would be just *perfect *for you.”

Even better if you can do this while FCD is on the roof…with a violin.

Swampy, you were on weekend before I even ate lunch.

The last load of chips have been added to the smoker. Next time the timer beeps, it’ll be time to unload. YUM!!

Meanwhile, I should probably go get the clothes off the line. I don’t want to be rushing to bring the laundry in while the ribs are calling for my attention!!

I have [del]poured lava and boiling acid on[/del]bathed Gordie. I gave him a cookie afterwards, for [del]being brave[/del]not wetting himself during the ordeal.

Gotta be fast to keep up with da bear!

Burgers have been et, even the Fryday fries midget.:stuck_out_tongue:

All is well.

Swampy, are you getting ready for your church St. Paddy’s Day bash?

Just FYI, the ribs were yummerrific! And there are lots of leftovers. All I need now is for the smoker-cleaning fairy to sneak in and, well, clean the smoker.

Anyone???

We’ll be doin’ that next weekend DeathMistress. Maybe we should give you an official Mumper nick. Hmmmm… I say cookie!

Anywho, tomorrow is the second annual “Lap A Leprechaun” 5/10 K run and one mile fun walk. Last year we did both on the same day and that was a bit much. Thus next Sattidy I shall be amongst the cooks for the big feast. It’ll be more fun now that we have a for real Parish Hall.

MOOOOOOM the smoker cleanin’ fairy is the most slack of all fairies. This I have discovered first hand.

I’ve got 4 four-rib slabs for the freezer along with 7 smoked brats. The other 2 brats are in the fridge for whenever. I don’t eat them, but **FCD **lurves 'em.

In another 30 minutes, I have to take an antibiotic - so glad this is the last day for those nasty things! Unfortunately, I can’t eat for an hour after I take it, so no ice cream till 9. That sucks. I hate having to wait!!! <pout>

Sometimes it’s so hard to be me.

We shall all testify at the Canonize Fairy Chat Hearing.

I got my least favorite job at work today again. Two days in a row.

Ain’t gonna happen again – I picked up a couple live chickens on the way home. Now to Google around for some good Santaria chants.

I think it’s time to sign off and have a snooze. MWAH!
