Boli, I’ll bid $50 and for the love of god, you should have started the bidding much higher; you know that one photo is worth far, far more than that. Jophiel, I think we better get together and pool our resources to keep control of that photo. If anyone gets wind of what that evil image depicts, the bidding is going to skyrocket.
I would like to apologize to everyone for skipping out on brunch. I woke up around 7:30, took a couple aspirin and a shower. I drank all my coffee by about 8:15, was bored with the television and had no reading material, since I stupidly forgot to bring my newest copy of Skeptical Inquirer. So, after deciding that no one else would be up and about for a couple of hours, and I was feeling pretty decently caffeinated I decided to hit the road. It was either that or come and knock on your doors. How would you have liked that?
I’ve got about 30 or 40 photos on disk, if anyone would like copies or has the gumption to post them on their website, please let me know and I’ll forward the best ones to you. The best, being defined as, least incriminating to myself and most incriminating to the rest of you. David, I can remove the goat and Lincoln statue from that one shot I have for a small fee, or you can join the team with Jophiel and myself in purchasing the one above.
Oh, and I almost forgot, I like puppies.

Okay, should we start a third thread for the actual notes, or let it lie? Omni said he wanted a thread with Spiffled in the title, but a trio of threads for our meeting might get some of our regular MPSIMSers’ collective bra in a twist.
And I’m sure I could scrounge up a dollar, Alpha. Especially for the show that would ensue.
Oh, and if we do start a third thread, it definitely needs to be called “One Night in Spiffled.”

Actually, I’d just like to take a moment and give props to Flyp & David for coordinating said meeting. 'Twas a very nice time, indeed.
And when you take into consideration that, as a rule, I can’t stand people, it was an even bigger success. Overwhelmingly, I liked most of the folk that were there. Sure, some of you pissed me off, but the fact that I enjoyed the company of most of you is what should be focussed on here.
And David: If you hadn’t sat with your back to the window, many of the fallen would still be with us. Of course, you did, and they’re not, so what the hell. But next time, just remember.

Jeez, Unc, you coulda given a call over by me when you woke up – I had a small voice waking me up at 6:40: “Daddy, I’m up. Daddy, wake up.” Yeesh.
Flyp deserves most of the credit for organizing this. I just came up with The Spot and suggested we take organizational matters to e-mail, which turned out to be quite a good idea, considering the timing of the board hacking. I must be psychic.
So, when we gonna see photos? I bet some folks who didn’t attend really want to see Gaudere in the Moderator Hat she now shares with me.
As for pics…mine will be up tomorrow night on my site. I need to get the film developed first, then swipe the scanner at work for about an hour. And UncBeer…if you want to email the pics to me, I can post them on my site tonight.
And David? DB and Satan thought it was HILARIOUS you actually had moderator hats.
